• Where can I find a current reference for the VENUE text events? (beside the official channel?)

Go here and grab that text file; I think that’s what you’re looking for.

(wondering if I will get a scolding soon from HMX) :c00l:

“(Welcome To The) Boomtown” by David & David

    +1

How about “Life In a Northern Town” by Dream Academy?

#1 for me and the missus: Stone Temple Pilots, frustratingly released right before the harmony cut-off!

Sadly, many of our requests come from bands with multi-song releases! Also high on the list:

    – Alice in Chains

    – REM

    – Styx

Y’know, the sort of bands where you expect good harmonies. Given that, hopefully they’re some of the bands you like.

In the smaller range, Smithereens have two songs with tasty vocal bits that I’ll buy in a heartbeat if they had harmonies!

So far as singles, one that I’d love (that nobody else would care) would be “Shhh….” by Darkest of the Hillside Thickets. Just a little bit of harmony in the chorus, but it’s a potent addition.

Yep, this right here. The wife and I would *love* to have STP harmonies [12/12/14], and I’d love to see the AIC songs with harmony parts as well [06/27/14]. Plus, I really like “Shhh…” [01/09/15]

Sorry. I didn’t realize this was laready posted when I made a thread for this.

Not a problem. Backups are good.

I went ahead and PDF’ed the RBN wiki from the web archive for anyone that needs it. It’s probably incomplete, and it’s definitely missing pictures. It’s in my Dropbox link, above.

Track down the docs (or hope Creators comes back up), get all the needed software, and start trying to following along with them using a simple song with a fixed bpm.

Someone @ Reddit pointed me to the cached docs here. No pictures, though, but should be more than enough to get you started.

It would probably be a good idea to archive that somewhere; I feel like creators.rockband.com isn’t coming back. No inside info or anything, just a hunch.

    Sex Bob-omb?

THIS THIS THIS. I’m still surprised that this didn’t turn into a movie/game tie-in. Seemed like a no-brainer. I can only assume Licensezilla reared its ugly, twisted head.

I would have bought the entire soundtrack. There’s not a song on it that I don’t like.

Madness – House of Fun – YESSSSSSSS

    And Our House, of course.

Reel Big Fish – BEER, Sell Out, She Has a Girlfriend Now would be cool.

And why not “Endicott” while we are at it? Epic song from Kid Creole. Not ska, but more reggae inspired dancehall.

Adding a +1 for any ska, particularly 2-Tone era.

OH GOD YES PLEASE and there was another song by them I liked… used to see the video on MTV way back when they actually played videos. Oh yeah, ‘Annie, I’m Not Your Daddy’.

I have all the RBN tools (I think so, anyway). Here’s what I’ve got:

Mod edit: unless you really need the original Magma V2, stick with C3 Magma in the OP.
