Hi yall, I’m Ollie, the resident frenchman of C3. You may or may not know me from the customs I’ve been slowly releasing for 18 months now. First and foremost a music lover and (mediocre) guitar player, I had virtually no experience in customs before learning my craft with the help of the original authoring documents pksage kept aside.
And ever since I joined the crew, I”ve learned new stuff and tricks. So big kudos to my fellow members (and especially the admins), the single fact that I’m still making customs I’ve barely enough time to play is the proof that virtually anyone can do it. So don’t hesitate to join us, we don’t bite!
Anyway, as far as my 12 days of customs song go, I tried to make something somewhat original, for a change. So I’ve chosen a fairly known song from the late 60’s-early 70’s (aka the best period ever for music, don’t even try to argue). It’s a cover, a grammy award winner, the musical backbone of one of the most critically acclaimed movies of its era and the signature song of an underrated, but peer revered, artist who will be making his first rock band appearance.
Featuring a challenging fingerpicking style guitar part, a beautiful string section and some vocal slides that will alllow you to show your vocal range and skills, here’s “Everybody’s Talking”, by Harry Nilsson. Happy Holidays !

Buckcherry’s first Top 100 hit finally makes it to Rock Band. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) it was not part of the officially released Buckcherry DLC tracks put out by Harmonix. Instead you are getting it me from and I’ve tried to bring it to you as close to the Harmonix standard as I can in all its uncensored multitrack glory.
The reason I decided to tackle this song after finding the multitracks was entirely based on the spirit of the season. Personally I am not a big fan of Buckcherry or this song, but two of the people I have been playing Rock Band with every Saturday over the last several years love it. If there is one thing I’ve found after becoming a customs author it’s that seeing people choose to play one of mysongs and enjoy it is a fantastic feeling. So this is my Christmas present to them and I expect to feel the same joy watching them play this song as I would watching a family member unwrap a Christmas present that I picked out for them.
I became a C3 author a short while after last year’s 12 Days pack and it may have been my favorite thing C3 has done. There was no way I was going to miss it this year. I hope you all enjoy this song and feel inspired to go the extra mile for that special loved one (or crazy bitch) in your life this holiday season. If there’s one thing I learned from comedy in the 90’s, well besides that bitches be shopping, it’s that bitches be crazy (my wife falls under both of these categories, but I love her all the same). Go out and pick out something special for that crazy bitch in your life. Maybe she’ll turn of the crazy for you until New Year’s.

(Remember, this is just a reveal; all of the songs will be released together on December 25. Check back tomorrow for another awesome song!)
