Rock Band Harmonies Project Updates for July 4th!

Hello all! Just in time for your American Independence Day Rock Band party, or just in time for a round of Rock Band that happens to be on July 4th, the Rock Band Harmonies Project returns with a fresh batch of charts to challenge keys and pro guitar players. But that’s not all! There are also a host of improvements to existing charts. In fact, if I counted correctly (which is never a certainty, but we’ll assume I did), there are 31 new keys charts, 4 new pro guitar and bass charts, 6 updated keys charts, and a whopping 106 updated harmonies charts! Credit for all this work is detailed below, but before we go any further, I want to give a big thank-you to the dedicated charters and players who made this release possible, Shroud, TheSheepQueen, JohnSmith, Linos Melindi, rjkiv, EuroMix and usta95. Your work is invaluable to the community and very much appreciated!

Additional Information about the Rock Band Harmonies Project

espher hosts the original Rock Band Harmonies Project on GitHub. My fork of the Project, which includes all of these newest updates and a whole lot more, is also on GitHub. If you’re new to the Project, you should watch espher’s tutorial, available on YouTube. The tool that bundles these upgrades with your existing Rock Band content is available here.

For those who have purchased official pro-guitar upgrades for legacy DLC, note that these cause conflicts with RBHP upgrades, and so you should not use the RBHP Custom Packager to add RBHP upgrades to tracks with official upgrades.

Enjoy!

  1. I cannot thank you enough for all the work everybody involved puts into this. You go above and beyond to ensure everything is as polished as possible. Mony Mony finally got the keys chart it always deserved.

This makes me wish I knew how to chart keys to help out. Maybe one day.

One question I had–I thought I remembered previous releases the keys charts had fairly normal animations, but the most recent batch shows animations showing on a static shot for the whole song. Is this expected, or have I done something wrong with compiling the project?
