Really? Don’t want to see it modernized a bit?

Sure, I guess. That’s what I’m getting at though. Update the original style but still make it feel like “C3”. I mean at this point, I’ll take whatever gets it away from this plain blue and white style.

Agreed. Would be cool if they could recreate or update the old styling

Alright, thanks for bringing this up. I’ll see what I can do by hand and I’ll get back. Still doesn’t help that I can’t see the custom myself in order to upload a new file/fixed version.

I don’t have the ability to change the chart if I need to now. I would’ve reuploaded the track and completely redone the vocals from scratch with a guaranteed copyright-free rip of the vocals not from Rock Band. I can’t even see the page myself because it’s hidden from my list

EDIT: My phrasing was a bit off in that comment now that I read it. I specifically searched for the vocals on YouTube and made sure not to download a one that had obviously been ripped from RB4. The one I picked had some slight noise to it and so knowing that it couldn’t be a clean rip, I went with that one. I’m 99% sure it’s not the RB4 mix.

We have come across EDAT files for DLC. However, we found that the game appears to work like RB3 TU5 but even more strict where as soon as it notices any sort of change in the files, it exits out and softlocks.

We are not touching audio encryption as we have custom audio almost figured out. There appears to be no Harmonix-specific encryption and it appears to just use regular PSP audio files.

The only encryption we need to play with is encryption of the chart files which appear to be an encrypted form of a regular rb2con. As stated, the references to Xbox files are in there. I do think with the right people we can get this done.

We are not touching HMX content / porting anything. We are keeping this about customs and customs only.

Clearing the cache won’t screw up your scores (I think) since I believe those are stored in your save file.

What purpose do you have for using Setlist Manager just out of curiosity.

If your songs aren’t being loaded correctly, I’d recommend wiping your song cache.

I’d be 100% willing to join in this. I feel I’ve spent enough time on the site and authoring that my customs are at a decent level. I have a keen ear for noticing inconsistencies across all instruments (I can normally tell a chart is wrong just by looking at it for the first time)

Would love to be a part of this somehow!
