Are you playing on edrum or regular rock band drums?

Playing rock band drums isn’t actually playing drums. Yeah i can play some ultra heavy songs on rock band because the abillity of ‘reading’ notes very quick and not having to care about strenght of hitting drums etc.

Playing rb on drums surely gives awesome thrill but it is not the same as playing live drums when you have to learn all patterns, keep tempo, care mucu about hitting strenght, abillity to use many techniques etc.

So i think that rock band is kind of drum lesson itself but you won’t learn how to play real drums that well juat by playing rb.

But fuck it, it is heavenly great anyway

P.s and as for tips, just play and think of your moves and how to improve them. Always try to be relaxed and dont strain your muscles. Use more wrist than forearm and just play play play.

Holding Out of a Hero is a stamina destroyer.

Hiromi – Keytalk and other songs – great drum, not so impossible but still challenging.

Frank Zappa – Waka Jawaka, King Kong, and many many more.

Gabor Szabo – i dont know whata going on thete

    Death/Behemoth/Slayer/Dragonforce – death/speed metal generally.

A7X – Sidewinder – also not so impossible but still beautiful piece of drums

Yousei Teikoku most of the songs are heavy

Midori -Anta wa Dare ya – destroys my arms

Tool – Grudge and most songs generally are fucked up

    Jazz,jazz,jazz

Do you have reaper and python in 32bit version ? Ive had similar problem when installed 64bit reaper.

Also, it is not a problem usually if you have duplicated songa in .dta, they’re just not showing on list.

Rebuilder is an option in c3contools, it is set for 5seconds by default but i use 10sec option.

By pack i meant some number of Cons converted to ps3, not packs for ps3 in 1 file. You cant do this on ps3.

I’ve spend many many hours figuring out why the console was freezing and as i said it was caused by 2 songs which even added separately as only customs were freezing console.

I only had once this problem, in many other times adding customs i havent had problems.

I think the only good solution for it is to add songs to .dta by 10-20 and then if something is wrong with specific song, you will waste less time figuring out what song it is.

I did it by adding 10 songs per load, if it froze console, ive added 2x 5 of the 10 songs which gave me freeze on 5, then 3 + 2 etc.

It is a time consumer, no doubt about that.

I have 2 crashes in the middle and ride on the right. Takes few songs to get used to have it reversed than on screen but it’s not a big problem.

Classic snare between legs, hihat on the left with your personal height. On the right side of hh pedal i have 2nd bass pedal (had lots of adjusting position so it doesnt mess up my hh posiion)

Toms you have to adjust to your personal preferences. Some like them flat, some at an angle. I have bit angled. 1st tom above snare, 2nd more-less above bass pedal, 3rd tom flat on the right, and bit above and behind it i have my ride.

    1. Magma has option 2xbass pedal to tick. I think it changes output name to one with 2xbass pedal. Not ticking this option will not make any action to your chart i think. While exporting midi mute the track you dont want to export.

    2. The way you make reductions i believe is in your personal opinion. But i think that serious 2xbass drumming should be only on expert difficulty.

    I’m no expert tho..

I didn’t exactly “managed to make it work”… I just plugged it in <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> I think I read somewhere that the official Rock Band microphone was manufactured by Logitech, and I had a Logitech headset so…

I meant that everywhere on forums is said that xbox headsets won’t work with rb, nobody mentioned logitech so you kinda worked that out heh
