  • Keep up the great work on non-live versions of AC/DC!

I hope Sin City and Down Payment Blues are in the pipeline for eventual release. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

Here’s a doozy of an update. Hopefully now I can take a break.

    It’s doubtful. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

Piano and I mess around on guitar, which I now have four of if you count the crappy RB Squier. The others are an old 70s era Korean Les Paul copy, a Schecter C-1 Pro, and an Ibanez Acoustic I inherited from my dad.

I should spend more time actually learning to play before I buy a real Strat… <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I am enjoying BandFuse on my journey towards that.

For what it’s worth I consider it a hassle to deal with keeping batteries charged all the time. Rechargeable battery packs for the regular Xbox 360 controller aren’t a problem.

It’s just a matter of habit for me, and it takes very little time to establish that habit. I keep my charged spare Eneloops in a tray with the charger right next to them. The protocol for changing batteries is to pull the dead ones out of the controller and take them to the tray, put the dead ones in the charger, grab the charged ones that are sitting there waiting, and plug the charger into the hallway socket on the way back to the couch and the game. Sometime later when the charger stops blinking and the formerly dead batteries are fully charged, I pull the charger out of the wall put the charged batteries and the charger back in the tray for the next iteration.

That process account was way harder to write than the actual task is to do. Rechargeable batteries are just as easy as using throw away batteries, and far more flexible than those controller battery packs that don’t fit in a Rock Band guitar that takes three batteries.

It has to be the full version, or we riot.

    INDEED!!!

It’s just the GHtoRB3 songs, and I’m working on them. It’s like this:

    [snip]

    4) I am now removing the RARs and making them into CONs whenever I find time. It takes a little while because I have to change the DB link for every song as I do it.

Although I’ve never personally had a problem un-RARing files, I appreciate your efforts as it really does make for a simpler user experience.

in reply to: Something is wrong with my RB3 disc? #414663

I noticed a crack in my RB3 disc center hole area. I think it is from popping it in and out of the game case. I’m going to do a mod on the “button” that holds it in place.

That, kind sir, is excellent news! Comfortably Numb pro guitar sounds fantastic to me. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

in reply to: Feb 21, 2014 – The Golden Age of Rock 11-pack #414661

I downloaded these Friday just in time for my Rock Band birthday party Saturday night. Since I’m old recruit other old farts to play, it worked out perfectly! Especially for one of my friends who hardly knows any of the songs I download: he ended up singing pretty much this whole pack!

Thanks again all you awesome authors. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Wasn’t there a beat-em-up with that premise a long time ago? Like “Def Jam Icon” and “Def Jam Fight For NY”?

It may not be cool, but I’d snap up every Neil Diamond song any of y’all might ever want to author. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

in reply to: USB stick full issues! #413492
My issue wouldn’t have been a big deal if I had simply just made a backup of my customs like I am doing now.

Yup, the “usb stick full after file manager deletion” is what got me to mirror my stick file structure on my computer hard drive, which makes stick failure recovery a breeze.

I love that album and will be downloading this song to check it out very soon. Thank you for picking TSOL!

please Please PLEASE tackle Code Blue next after you’re done tweaking this one. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Every time one of these threads pop up I die a little inside. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

It’s so, so, so simple and headache-free once you give up the “joy” of playing with randoms online, give up TU5 for good, and just use the USB to transfer customs to your Xbox’s HDD.

There is great fun to be had jamming on-line with non-randoms. It’s been getting more and more difficult to find participants for face-to-face Rock Band parties for me, so the on-line band is my Rock Band highlight for the week.
