Only where it is necessary in your Pro Drums chart.
September 24, 2020 at 9:22 pm in reply to: Making customs that fluently work on RB1/2 and 3? #514336My best guess would be just to make disco flipping for pro drums. IIRC, there was an interview with one of the devs on how the yellow, blue, and green toms served as double duty for cymbals as well. Try to add disco flipping in your drum chart. If I still had RB1, I would have made a test song to see if the disco flipping method works.
The full album Finding God Before God Finds Me by Bad Omens is now a custom with full multi tracks stems and all songs except Careful What You Wish For have been updated with some significant changes to all instruments. This is my first full album custom and I am more than happy to work on it. Hope you enjoy them!
So in regards to the syncing issue for Brace Legs by Born of Osiris, I will be looking in to that when I get the chance. Busy schedule and school has pretty much been taking over along with other personal things.
Also I am working on a full album custom of Finding God Before God Finds Me by Bad Omens since I have the multi track stems. So what does this mean for Brace Legs?
A fix for Brace Legs will be put on hold sadly. I am at the point where songs with constant tempo changes are bothering me and are hard to do, but that does not mean that I would not work on another song that has many tempo changes.
Besides the syncing issue, I may also do a complete chart rework for all instruments except Keys/Pro Keys.
Hang tight and once the full album custom is finished, Brace Legs will have my attention.
So I purchased the stem back of the album Finding God Before God Finds Me by Bad Omens and I will be updating all the customs I made from the album and will be making it a full album custom.
For me, about 1-2 days. Of course depending on the length and complexity of the song and how many parts there are (I always go for a full band custom) and with venue work done. Parasite Eve took 6 hours to do a full band chart with venue work. It’s still getting updated. It is tough squeezing in so much work in such a small time, but dedication for me is where it all plays out.
Careful What You Wish For by Bad Omens took 4 hours to chart granted I have the multi-track stems.
edit* Getting the official stems can greatly reduce the time spent on making a custom, but the Spleeter tool also comes in handy to get “multi-tracks”. The hard part for me is getting Vocals (with harmonies (if included)) and Pro Keys. A few years of ear training in music production has helped make these charts possible for me at least and with a lot of practice and patience, I have been able to squeeze down the duration of making a chart from my first one Silence the Echo by Born of Osiris (7 days) to Careful What You Wish For by Bad Omens (4 hours).

Thank you for the help! The chart is the way it should be.
One thing you can do to get songs finished faster is to collaborate with others! It can make the time to work on one song much shorter of course it depends on how many instruments you want to be charted, the complexity of the instruments, and the duration. Hopefully you can find some people to collaborate with ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
All my planned Born of Osiris songs have been released. Next up is Bring Me the Horizon. If you have any suggestions for the current artist I am working on, feel free to respond!
I still have Drown on my PS3 and of course it being a part of the RB4 library, I’m not uploading the CON file. But that does beg the question, should people who have it within their consoles delete it?
I have been pretty inconsistent with updating my list that I realized that I have been working on Born of Osiris a lot more than the other artists that I had in mind. For now, I will be putting them to the side and work on Born of Osiris for now. What I am thinking is work on one artist, then move on to the next. I did see a comment under my release of Silence the Echo by Born of Osiris to make songs from their new album, The Simulation, so I began to get the motivation to make more Born songs. It has been almost a whole year without any Born songs before I uploaded my Born customs and I plan on releasing them all at once. Check the original post to see what songs I have planned and so on. If you have any Born of Osiris song requests, ask them here please. Thank you!
Doomed by Bring Me the Horizon has been released. Hope you enjoy!
I have updated my list of planned songs. If there are any in this list that you feel in interested in working with me on, inform me so we can cooperate on them.
Doomed sounds like a great idea! Easily my fave from That’s The Spirit. Looking forward to it!
Doomed seems to be an underrated song to me. It is quite amazing.
As for Silence the Echo, I got all instruments charted on all difficulties. Just have to do vocals both solo and harmonies!
