ataeafParticipantNo, I’m not pressing the scroll wheel.

ataeafParticipantIt’s in the album art repository, in the updates folder.

RB1 DLC and the RB1 exports don’t have album art because RB1 didn’t use album art. When RB2 came out which did use album art, art for the older songs was put in a separate folder.

ataeafParticipantI think it would be a proper full game in the vein of The Beatles: Rock Band.

ataeafParticipantCan we list cases where a cover/re-recording/live version is the only version released as a C3 custom?
Examples:
KISS – Shout It Out Loud (GH5 re-recording)
Reel Big Fish – Beer

ataeafParticipantThanks for telling me about Time Bomb. I could’ve swore that I searched it up and found nothing.
As for I Want You to Want Me, who would want the studio version? Live is the superior version. Unless the studio version is the alternate version based on the live recording…
Yeah, I only mentioned it for completion’s sake.
(Then again, you could say the same for Do You Feel Like We Do.) Though the studio re-recording would be interesting. The best version of the song is that alternate live version that was in Band Hero. Also, here is Time Bomb.

ataeafParticipantThe studio version of Time Bomb has already been made into a custom.
Also if you’re including all of them, then the studio verson I Want You to Want Me, as boring as it is, should be included.

ataeafParticipantI’ve also used it for:
An alternate version with a synth solo charted to guitar (and its associated 2x bass pedal—in this case, I had to use a second “Other” track)
An instrumental version of a song that used DIY multitracks

ataeafParticipant“Where Everybody Knows Your Name” by Gary Portnoy (Cheers theme song)

ataeafParticipantExpanding on what Sheep said. From past experiences and just watching what is and isn’t allowed, here’s what I’ve gathered
Studio version is official song -> Live version is OK to chart (Example: Cirice by Ghost is RB4 DLC, but Cirice (Live) by Ghost is on the database)
Live version is official song -> Studio version is OK to chart (Example: School’s Out and I’m Eighteen by Alice Cooper are live version in their official song versions, but the original recordings have also been charted and on the database)
Cover version is official song -> Original version is OK to chart (Example: Brass in Pocket by The Pretenders is official DLC, but it’s a cover. I was able to chart and release Brass in Pocket (Original Version) no problem)
A rerecording is official song -> Original version is OK to chart (Although going the other way is not the best to do) (Example: Love Hurts by Nazareth is a later rerecording of the same song, it’s not the original studio version. Love Hurts (Original Version) on the database IS the original recording)
Also,
Live version is official song -> Different live version is not OK to chart (Example: The live version of I Want You to Want Me by Cheap Trick from the Cheap Trick at Budokan album is official DLC, so the alternate live recording that was included in Band Hero cannot be released.)

ataeafParticipantThis video shows that it defaults to Rock (Rock).
December 16, 2019 at 10:38 pm #508452
ataeafParticipantCan you make it so it defaults to Rock (Rock) like Magma OG did, rather than Rock (Arena)?
December 10, 2019 at 11:28 am #508255
ataeafParticipantKeys can be played on guitar, so they should be included.
