No. It’s also not available for 64-bit setups, forcing those of us who use 64-bit OS to have to run 32-bit Reaper :what:

Yeah, that really pooped in my cheerios. I’ve been running 64 bit Windows 7 since around the time it came out… I think it goes without saying that a lot of us 64 bit users are getting plenty annoyed that a lot of programs these days (especially gaming related ones) tend to shaft the 64 bit users more and more as time goes on :argh:

Can anyone upload the RBN previewer plugin for Reaper?

Echoing The T’s request here. I’d like to dabble in authoring (or at least editing), but it seems prohibitively time consuming for a first-time author without a way to preview the charts. Unless there’s some other way to see how your song looks without actually loading it onto the Xbox.

A while back I tried playing around with lyrics in a chart, but it just messed up the timing on the vocal parts. I didn’t want to keep copying the file to the Xbox and reloading the game every time I made a minuscule change so I just gave up. What I really want is that window you can see in this video, which I’m assuming is what The T was talking about:

      Updated OP:

      – RBN tools links, including RBN Preview for Windows and Mac

      – pksage’s “Let’s Author!” session on twitch.tv

I’d really like to get into doing this, especially seeing as how I have a week off my job for Fall Break coming up.

OP updated. Had to end in an extension the server likes.

Of course, you’re still going to have to resort to the PC tools eventually (Modio, Horizon, Party Buffalo, USBXTAFGUI, etc).

Thanks for letting me know…at what point in the process? Will that happen when I get to the play testing part and album art and stuff? I assumed I could do most of the actually charting on my Mac.

On the Mac, you can author in REAPER and export the MIDI.

To create an RBA from the MIDI, album art, etc., you’ll need C3 Magma (Windows).

To load the rb3con on a USB stick, you’ll need Modio, Horizon, USBXTAFGUI, or Party Buffalo (Windows).

A few possible issues I’m having. First, I’m having the same problem Busta Uppa did with D:rbnelouisestick.wav. When I select the Custom RB3 Template, I get the following:

“The following effects were in the project file and are not available. REAPER will keep their configurations, but things may not sound as desired.

Master: VST: W1 Limiter (George Yohng)

Track 24: VST: W1 Limiter (George Yohng)”

And finally, I started watching the vocal charting tutorial. It says to load my music into the TRKS track. However, I don’t see that or the Countin track. Did I miss downloading something?

The stick sound is up to you. Record one or find one.

W1 Limiter is a nice freeware audio limiter. Added to OP.

In the latest template, we renamed TRKS to SONG AUDIO. The track name doesn’t really matter.

Updated CustomTools.zip Custom RB3 template to eliminate old RBN1.0 lighting cues.

Not sure if this is a good place to post this or not but I was getting kind of bored with the RBN Preview BG in Reaper so I changed it.

If anyone else perhaps would like this as well:

                  C:Program Files (x86)REAPERPluginsFXrbprev

Replace RBN_background1.png with this one. Save the original png somewhere or rename it if you want to switch back at some point.

On the topic of custom preview backgrounds, I also made a C3 one as well to replace the old RBN1 style.

Hi, I’m brand new to customs, and I’m not sure where to install the w1limiter plugins… Any help?
