C3 CON Tools automatically downmixes encrypted MOGGs into a single backing OGG file. If your copy of C3 CON Tools doesn’t do this it’s because you’re running a very outdated version.

Actually, I was re-reading the original post and I’m wondering: is it possible that these old customs have encrypted MOGGs?

          Exactly. So I’m more confused about the poster’s issue. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

If a MOGG is encrypted you can’t access it, plainly put. You need to find a different audio file and redo the tempo map if needed.

way over my head with the tempo map thing, as I said I used my audio file and it lost sync

doesn’t downmix the file, trust me. using the newest version, give it a try yourself

it is infact encrypted, since the tools won’t do anything with it

as I said, you guys should see for yourself.

incase you guys don’t believe me:

not a single song gave me trouble except for this one, so not sure what the deal is. the chart is pretty nice so I’d love to keep it synced without looking into silly tempo map stuff

Ah, well, that song was an unreleased Rock Band Network song and as such the Tools will not be able to convert it because it is encrypted with Harmonix’s encryption and not C3’s. I’ve gone ahead and removed the song from the Repository as it should not be there.

              Problem solved.

Imagine my surprise when I downloaded “Run Like Hell” and “Comfortably Numb” and found them both to be not only full band, but all difficulties!

But very in need of help.

I actually think they are perfect.

They’re decent. Comfortably Numb needs some love in the keys department, for one thing. Pretty sure pro keys are just 5 lane copy pasted over.

Are you talking about this one?

I don’t mean to call anyone out, but…
Vocals: many pitched phrases are talky instead, and/or have hyphenation errors:
                  0:21 Is# there# a-# ny-# one# home#
                  should be:
                  0:21 Is(A) there(Bb) an-(B ) y-(F#) one(F#) home(F#)
                  or need pitch help:
                  1:11 You(C ) are(B ) o-(C#) ly(B ) co-(C#) ming(B ) through(C#) in(D) waves(D) +(B )
                  should be:
                  1:11 You(C ) are(B ) on-(C ) ly(B ) com-(C ) ing(B ) through(C ) in(D) waves(D) +(B )
Pro keys: overlapping notes, incorrect rhythm
Guitar: sustains too long, many missed strums, downstrums are 3 notes, upstrums are 1 (unique, but so alone)

I don’t see Run Like Hell or Comfortably Numb.

Oh, in *this* crusty database. Yup, same version.

Thanks, I was looking for some of the metallica customs I saw in a video on youtube and searched for hours but finally found them.
