A lot of you that are now just discovering customs have noticed that most old spreadsheets and threads in the old forums only have dead links. Many have asked for re-uploads or help getting the songs.

      Well, here’s our answer.

This is a collection of many, if not most, of the oldest and most difficult to find customs on the internet. These include the files that used to be hosted on MegaUpload before it got taken down, as well as old customs from a variety of forums.

This is the work of our awesome farottone – so thank him!

The files have been on the server for a while, we just kinda forgot to publish this :what:

      GROUND RULES

Everything on that repository should be taken AS IS.

Consider this a data dump. We’re just posting and hosting the files, with NO guarantees that they will work on your Xbox. The songs are most likely NOT going to be full band, most likely will be expert only, and will most likely have issues.

Get C3 CON Tools (shame on you if you don’t already have it) and throw the songs at Visualizer to see what instruments they have and any potential metadata issues. Throw it at MIDI Cleaner if you want to try cleaning up the MIDI file a bit.

Don’t ask for fixes, updates, or solutions to any problems you may have with these files

Take the files, if they work great, if they don’t work, too bad. We didn’t make them, we’re not responsible for them, we will NOT do any work on them.

We do not “have an easy way to download everything” – either get yourself a mass downloader or something similar or click clickity click.

      Enjoy!

“Discord (EuroChaos Mix)” is an official DLC song… So technically, would it be illegal to have that as a custom?

Illegal? No since it’s a custom from before and doesn’t use the official files.

But any songs already released we try to remove them

Okay. I don’t know if ya want to remove that one or not but anyways. Some songs on the list I do recognize as having working original links but it is always nice to have more download links for anything really… XD

I even notice you put some (not all) of Linos’s customs on the list too. A bit surprise in that really.

              Once again, my many thanks!

That’s available from my old customs thread on the Other Customs board.

Thanks much. There are a few here that I’d searched a good bit for and given up on.

Did someone once do Taking Back Sunday – A Decade Under the Influence? Think I found a dead link once; it’d be nice if someone could provide that, if it exists.

Finally a working link for Have a Drink on Me!

                      :barf: :barf: :barf:

Oh so that’s why nobody cared about the dead link before.

Just after spending 5 minutes with it, I’ve seen about 10 words misspelled, terrible tempo mapping, and a very lazily charted bassline.

I know I know I know they are as is. But it astounds me that someone put hours of work into this and it turned out that bad.

We didn’t make them, we’re not responsible for them, we will NOT do any work on them.

I think I may need to make an exception on this one! Off I go…

Wow, Beck’s Loser is on that list. Hopefully it’s any good. I can see I still have the only originals for Foo Fighters’ Alrandria and Bridge Burning since those are missing from that list as well.
