January 8, 2022 at 6:30 pm in reply to: C3 Con Tools chokes when trying to edit RB2 Export Pack #520237
Ok so, not sure exactly what the issue was, but I re-downloaded the file from XBL, put it on my internal SSD, opened C3ConTools 4.0.1 in Admin Mode, manually opened the file in CON converter, then edited it with quick pack editor, and it worked flawlessly. Not sure wtf was going on, I’m guessing that my external HDD had some file exception. Oh joy, I guess it’s time to back up & reformat my external HDD again 😩
Hopefully this helps someone else who has the same problem; I nearly went mad from this issue!
Yeah:
GHtoRB3
Lol
Yeah, here they are, uploaded in two parts because my internet was slow and unreliable when I uploaded them for titiln back in the GHtoRB3 days (he never got started).
These are legit studio masters though, not DIY:
I personally would love to atleast play with the undead multitrack if you are willing to post it?Sure, I just hope maybe this would inspire someone to actually want to get involved. I was going to do another multitrack extraction for “Let’s Go” by Travis Barker (feat. Lil Jon, Busta Rhymes, Twista, & Yelawolf), but if no-one is going to use them, I might just give up.
Multis:

Drums @ 0dB (The drums in the other one was accidentally turned up too high when I exported)

Again, these are DIY, so they are _not_ going to sound perfect when you isolate one.
General- I noticed you got the MIDI stretched out quite a ways. You usually want your MIDIs as long as where the [end] text event in your EVENTS MIDI is. The length of the MIDI effects what the game believes the song’s length to actually be. I haven’t seen the song in-game, but I bet if you check, the game will tell you this song is four minutes long.
Vocals
- Everything here is referring to Solo vocals, unless stated otherwise.
- M10.2.7: I think “wants to fuck” is all A. Occurs in HARM2.
- M26.2.96: I think “wan-” is G. Occurs in HARM1, HARM2 and HARM3.
- M34.3.9: “a” should be “ya”. Occurs in HARM2.
- M38.4.09: Either lowercase “ahh” or split the phrase at M38.4.
- M48.2.96: I think “wan-” is G. Occurs in HARM1, HARM2, and HARM3.
- M52.4: This phrase should be “Wanna fuck a fuckin’ dog”. Sounds like it’d be G->G->F#->G->A->F#->G. Applies to maybe HARM1 (it looks like you’re trying to chart the mix of singing and cracking up) and HARM2.
- M53.3.18: In HARM3, capitalize “dog” and hide it with $.
Guitar
- I think those three-note patterns you’re going for in M3.2, 4.2, 5.2, etc, has notes on Mx.x.0, Mx.x.66, and Mx.y.0.
- M16.4: Make this orange blue.
All of these fixes have been applied, and files updated.
I updated the album/visualizer to the correct version. Are there any other errors? I want to go ahead and push this out whenever possible.

Please PM me or post in the thread if you add me so I can add you back.
Multitrack version of Rollin’ by Limp Bizkit (V2, much better balancing – much better sound). Credit to the original authors for the chart. The multitrack was created by me:

Let me know via PM/comment what you guys think
So… Other than the .png problem, is this custom ready to go?
Also, if someone could give me a link to said .png, that would be greatly appreciated.
Update – added:
Breathe Carolina – Sellouts (feat. Danny Worsnop)
Linkin Park – A Light That Never Comes (feat Steve Aoki)

Got some vocal notes, mostly grammatical things since I’m such a stickler for this stuff.Vocals
- M9, 139, 147, 155, 163: The first two “La”s are just one “La”.
- M27.4.5: “‘Cause” should be “Then”.
- M28.1: “mister” should be capitalized.
- M51.1: “mister” should be capitalized.
- M60.1: “ou#r” should be “our#”.
- M62.4: For solo, lower-case “That”.
- M86.1: “I’ve” should be “I”.
Also, looking back at Guitar, I’m sure M3-7 should be a series of sustained notes (again, chalk it up to distortion), similar to what’s up in M35-39.
NL fixed the vox issues. As for the guitar one, I don’t have time to look at it before release (I’m on mobile), so Whenver I realease an update, I’ll fix it.
I just added Overdrive and Unison phrases, but I have not yet uploaded it. Drum fills are still not done and I don’t know how to do them… Hopefully either NightmareLyre can do them or I can get them done tonight.
General- This is something I don’t understand. Why switch to 4/8 halfway through the song when you can do just as well at 4/4? It just doesn’t make sense to me.
My bad, I charted the song in 4/8 during tempomapping because the kicks appeared to line up better. NightmareLyre changed it to 4/4… I’m guessing he missed a few markers? Where are they?
Drums
NightmareLyre did drums. I’ll try to get him to look all of this over. All I did was fix magma errors and shorten the track (in general)
Keys
- M73, 135: Part of me feels that the ascension/descension thing is overdoing it a bit.
Are you talking about the 16th before the sustain? I felt the same way, but NightmareLyre charted the keys so I tried not to question it.
2:49+ actually shows how the keys part was recorded:
Guitar
- M7, 8, 9, etc: On thing to learn about charting guitars like this is knowing the difference between chords and distortion. This is a lot of distortion. The cords at 8.3 are chords, though. The rest I think should go like:
B->G->G->B->G->G->Y->Y
or
Y->G->G->Y->G->G->R->R
Those YG really sound like bar chords to me… I’ve tried to watch the beginning of the video to make sure, but the way he lays his finger across the fret makes me think it’s a chord
- M15.1.5, 16.1.5, 17.1.5: Personally hearing this as Y->O->Y->O->Y->BO->BO.
Not sure, sounds like it could be either way. It’s two guitars so I charted the first on the top portion, and the second on the bottom.
- M18: These chords should be single notes. The last note should not be sustained. I think it should look like:
Y->Y->Y~~~>B->B->B
Those really sound like chords to me. I keep listening but I hear a lower and a higher note on every strum. The sustain does sound forced, so I’m removing it.
Apply something similar to M92, 100, and 108. M116 is fine as is.
108 is the only one where I agree with you on the chord thing. I meant to remove that second half but apparently missed it during copy/pasting. Honestly it sounds like two different guitar tracks on all of the other ones.
- M22.1.5: B->B->B___R->R->G
Yeah there’s some variation between the last two notes… Though I’m not sure on the chord vs. note thing… The video kinda made me think it was a bar chord but they might have just picked some close (but off) video… Care to take a look @0:30?
- M27.1, 29.1, 31.1, etc: These RB and YO chords are reversed.
Yeah, totally fucked up on that one. That’s rather embarrassing… Fixing that now.
- M27.3.5, 29.3.5, etc: These GY’s oughta be GR’s. Mostly basing it on the GR at M28.1. Speaking of which…
- M28.1, 32.1, etc: These GR’s should be changed to GY’s.
I’m a little confused here. So basically you’re saying the GY and GR need to be swapped because the pitch is higher on the second one?
- M46.1.25: I think this RY should be HO/PO’d.
For accuracy or playability?
- M54.4.75: Lose this green. I think I know what you’re trying to do with it, but it doesn’t work from here.
Yeah just couldn’t get the feeling right
- M87.3-91.4, 93.3-99.4: Move these reds to blue.
I thought the pattern was more or less identical to the one at m19.1.05, just with more distortion. - M102-108, 110-116: These patterns are the same as the ones before them. They’re just really distorted. The thing about turning reds into blues apply here as well.
Wasn’t sure so I charted it in case. It does still seem more “satistfying” to play the other way, but oh well.
