All main discography songs plus Free As A Bird and Real Love have been planned since day one.  Anything outside of this we release (like Gnik Nus from Love, or Working Class Hero from John’s solo discography) is considered bonus to the project.

Huh, Flashdance.  That’s a name I haven’t seen in a while.  I was in works with someone to get this song charted with multitracks, but with a mix of me wanting to redo the mix and them going to other songs, it seemed to fall through.  Still open to work on this song and redo my mix of the 3 minute and 7 minute version.

As of literally just a few minutes ago, Wheatus has decided to allow me to chart ANY song of theirs that they can provide stems for.  This basically includes their entire discography, minus their debut album (I can do the 2020 rerecords though) and the Pop, Song & Death EPs, plus a few other random exceptions.  The first song planned is In The Melody off of Too Soon Monsoon!

Oh trust me, I’ve known why this has been down for a while.  Farottone has informed, although not in that much detail, so I’ve known for a bit.  Just having a little fun with it coming back up 😁

I have been sent pictures of your disc that was posted in the C3 discord. I notice that it has the infamous “circle scratch of death”. This usually occurs when the disc is in the console, the console is on, and the console is tilted. This happens because the disc scratches up against the lens of the disc reader or some mechanism of the drive and causes a massive round scratch. This always happens with pre slim models. Early slim models can do this, but it’s not common. This scratch is not fixable and requires buying a new disc.

I actually started this one because I have the stems, but I lost the reaper project when one of my hard drives died. I got drums and half of bass done before haha bye bye. Sucks, because that tempo map? It was not fun to do at all.

Just did some researching myself, and I can confirm the only version of the legitimate acapella is from RB4. The websites I know of that upload this kind of material appear to just be reuploads of that version. If you want to confirm that you are not using the RB4 vocal track, then it MUST be DIY vocals through something like PhonicMind, RX 7, Spleeter, Demuc, etc. as there is no other legitimate version available.

Keep in mind that when unzipping the songs, some of them go directly into their correct folder to be copied, eg ‘help’, while others go into ‘TBRBEleanorRigby/eleanorrigby’. If you just copy all the folders, those songs will not work. You need to just copy the ‘eleanorrigby’ folder and what is in it.

This issue has been noted. When updates for songs roll out, we will be directly archiving the song folder and dta, there will not be an extra folder. This is mainly to save time for every one, on console or on emulator. It was just a mistake I made where I was packaging it one way and then suddenly I started packaging them another way.

2,964 I believe is the limit, but I agree. I don’t automatically like everything I download, unless I know what the song IS, and really like the song already, and also assuming the person did a decent job with it (it’s not a total mess, which I don’t know unless I try it), OR if I don’t know if I like it, I’ll come back later and comment/like it, etc.

No, not RB3’s song limit, which is well known. I’m talking about Rock Band 2 and 4, which does not have a known limit, if any.

 

More on this though, trying to download every song, and then convert it to the proper game really does take a lot of time and effort, and being able to cut time on one end would be really good. Converting isn’t really an issue for RB2 since you can batch convert, but it’s a lot more difficult for RB4 since the tools do not allow for batch conversion in an easy manner.

I would rather you take the time to read about each of the songs I’ve worked on, and possibly say thanks for the effort, rather than you just download all 300+ of them and never come back. Just my take.

I mean this might just be the case for me, but I would actually like to bulk download since I want to one day find the song limit for RB2 and RB4, if there is one. Downloading the songs one by one is what really holds me back from finding out if there really is a limit.

hmm, based on the image you posted it doesn’t look like you had them on an old flash drive, looks like you downloaded it off of one of the few archives of the DLC songs. It’s even in the exact format of these archives, as shown by the folder structure

 

 

Here’s the exact same archive pack you got. Same file name and structure, same date modified time and date.

 

 

Man, if you’re gonna lie, especially when this place is really strict about DLC piracy, at least be smoother about it.

 

BTW I legit own these songs I only downloaded them from one of the archives to prove the point
