RB guitars all the way for me. The buttons are perfect, and the strum bars are more precise than the looser GH ones in my experience once you get used to it.

It’s not the absolute longest, but “The Artist in the Ambulance” as a full album for full band is just under 40 minutes, and that’s definitely up there and worth mentioning.

There’s a goal in the game for having 3,000 songs in your library and playing all of them, but obviously the song limit of 2,952 makes that impossible. It’s assumed that the 48 trainers count in the game’s eyes as “songs”, making the intended limit of 3,000 drop to 2,952. As you might expect, it also makes the goal impossible to complete.

Will a disco-flipped roll lane behave correctly in both pro and basic drums? Even if so, is it a good idea?

    No.

When a lane is disco-flipped, it becomes broken on pro drums. This phenomenon can be seen in the RBN songs “Need Strange”, “Ooh La La”, and “Back to You”. Basically, the lane acts as if it doesn’t exist, and in order to maintain your combo, you need to hit the notes charted exactly (which essentially completely negates the purpose of putting a lane there in the first place). It will work as intended on regular drums, but pro drums is a no-go in this situation, which you do not want in your chart.

I actually rather enjoy a lot of the covers, lol. “Seventeen” from GH80s is probably my favorite.

If only the PC port of RB4 would of got funded we would still have the RBN. I really want this to happen but not sure if it’s worth it for Harmonix to try a crow fund project again.

I doubt that’ll ever happen to be honest, which sucks.

Shocking news. I already purchased all RBN on Xbox360 back in it’s hay day. It was such a joy to discover and play(for the most part) unheard of bands. I know we recently got a batch of RBN releases on RB4 but this looks bleak to receive a large amount of them in the future.

Agree 100%. I’m still missing about 350-400 RBN songs and currently I am not in a position where I can purchase all of the remaining songs. The idea of not having the chance to ever have some of those songs is really depressing since I’ve always enjoyed finding really neat unheard of songs. Regardless, the RBN was a phenomenal platform and so many cool songs are on there. So sad that it’s going away now <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

I knew it!! I’d be curious to see how that was achieved. It’s also interesting because that really doesn’t look like a situation that would need it.

Honestly, I think it was a mistake. I agree that it really wasn’t a necessary situation for it to happen, and whoever charted it at Harmonix decided to avoid splitting phrases at 3:41 so that the blue line didn’t pass through again, resulting in a very long phrase. I feel like if the first instance of the blue line passing through was done on purpose, they wouldn’t have been opposed to splitting that one really long phrase up. Either way, it’s a very interesting scenario; I’ve never seen the blue line pass through on any other official chart on RB3 (at least not on harmonies; some early charts sometimes have messed up phrase markers on solo vocals in RB3 which force parts of phrases to get cut off mid-note, but that’s more of a glitch than anything really)

I swear I’ve seen the same thing with HARM1 notes (although I can’t name any examples so maybe I’m crazy)

“Waiting for the End” by Linkin Park has it. https://youtu.be/Z68als2r0mY?t=2m50s
