That’s a real shame. I guess the best thing to do is to request the songs that we all enjoy on the submission page and hope that they can live on in RB4 as full DLC

No, the best thing you can do is buy them right now. These songs have an incredibly unlikely chance of ever making it as official DLC.

Way ahead of you on that one lol, I just dropped almost 200 bucks just on the network just as I heard news.

Shocking news. I already purchased all RBN on Xbox360 back in it’s hay day. It was such a joy to discover and play(for the most part) unheard of bands. I know we recently got a batch of RBN releases on RB4 but this looks bleak to receive a large amount of them in the future.

Good on you. It’s unfortunate that at most 5 songs from RBN would probably ever make it to DLC (like Third Eye Blind, Finger Eleven, Creed, etc.).

Agree 100%. I’m still missing about 350-400 RBN songs and currently I am not in a position where I can purchase all of the remaining songs. The idea of not having the chance to ever have some of those songs is really depressing since I’ve always enjoyed finding really neat unheard of songs. Regardless, the RBN was a phenomenal platform and so many cool songs are on there. So sad that it’s going away now

My question to everyone is: What are the top few songs/groups from RBN that you would recommend that everyone check out? (just a few songs)
Off the top of my head I would say that you should definitely check out:
– Seether – Rise Above This, Country Song, and Remedy.
– Furly – Icarus’ Song
