Yes – please…link to the Discord?
I am horrible on posting in this format…Hopefully images come through this time…
Regarding the HDD space vs the song limit…my thoughts exactly. I’ll report back if anything explodes! Thank you for carrying the torch for PS3 users. Much appreciated.
Good thing or bad thing I am juggling songs on PS3 to respect the 2952 limit. Is it safe to assume that using the delete function within the game can help reduce song count? Also, I do understand that deleting a song that is part of a pack deletes the entire pack. Is there any danger of editing .dta files to cull a song or two out of a pack? Sorry to be lazy and not do my own experiments…
October 30, 2021 at 10:17 pm in reply to: Replacing PS3, is there a better platform to future-proof? #519090I finally dedicated the time to learn to install HEN, and I finally figured out how to export the DLC I paid for into the right format for easy installation later. All that to say I plan on buying PS3s when I see the right opportunity and store them on the shelf. Agree if I knew what I knew now I would have started on XBox. At least I got the Blu-Ray or HD DVD guess correct – lol.
October 1, 2021 at 9:41 pm in reply to: Replacing PS3, is there a better platform to future-proof? #519019I saw this about a month ago and was hoping to see some posts. I have the same dilemma, and my current recourse is to keep a couple PS3s ready on the shelf. I am fortunate that there is a local repair shop that I have successfully used to reflow when they get the yellow light of death. As I have a lot of official DLC, it is quite the chore I go through to build a new PS3. I download all of my DLC, then jailbreak, then install customs. I have theories on easier ways to accomplish, but I don’t get much time to play the game much less spend time learning new tech skills – HEN, Jailbreaking, etc. I know there is a lot of cool things you can do with jailbroken PS3, but I honestly treat mine like Rock Band appliances. Once they are working I only play rock band on them and never go online. Probably missing out on some fun but not worth risking the life expectancy of the PS3. IF there was a PC method to play it all with all instruments and mics running…I would be in.
Cool idea. I always thought it was a bummer to have to hit the x to go from “We Will Rock You” to “We Are the Champions.” You’d also have to deal with the little count down at the beginning. But no reason not to dream 🙂

Big fan of Scott P’s work!
Ahhh wow, good job! I thought they were like 3D-Printed actual toppers, haha
Mine are tape – the awesome 3d printed is rubydanger. One day I might get there…ya gotta have goals.
I bought the colored tape…mostly to help my wife, who play’s on my Strike kit on medium for most songs, but I can’t find any colored cymbal toppers or anyone willing to sell them.
I used the tape on the cymbal tops also. I just made a few cuts to make it “form” a little “cleaner”.
Keep at it – process of eliminating a bad song. Once you get a good library going, it’s worth it…thanks to all of the authors and developer types out there to whom I owe a lot of entertainment hours…
Do you see all 120 songs when logged in via FTP? FTP server shows successful upload? And you chose to overwrite the old DTA file during the upload?
Asking the simple stuff… ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I liked rudydangers work as well. I bought this neon gaffers’ tape on Amazon.

They give you plenty and it seems to work out well and with a black light. The picture does not do it justice.
