I appreciate that. I’m kinda in-between playing for fun and wanting to learn. Me, my wife, and my daughter all play together about once a week, so it’s mostly for fun. Maybe Rocksmith and a real guitar is the way to go for me, then I can just continue on with the OEM Rock Band instruments. At the same time though, my OG RB guitar is on its last leg, so I’ll need a new one sooner rather than later and that’s what kinda prompted all of this.
I think I’m going to end up buying a MIDI guitar. That way I can use it for RB and for actual guitar playing….. just gotta recover financially from Christmas lmao.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
December 24, 2020 at 1:11 am in reply to: LIST OF ALL AUTHORING STUFF (REAPER, Magma, tutorials, etc.) #515489Hey guys.
I’m trying to get into authoring a bit. I have most everything I need to start and I’m following the guide, but I cannot for the life of me find a link to Magma C3. Every link I come across is broken and I seem to remember getting it off of keepitfishy.com a few years ago, but that site seems to be gone now as well.
Does anybody have a link, or would be willing to throw it on Google Drive so that I can grab it?
Much thanks!

You would need the standard midi adapter as well as a midi cable but those shouldn’t be too hard to come by.Â
Perfect! That looks great, thanks.

Now if I can just nail down a guitar 😬
I’d like a new invite link as well, please.
I know I’m like 3 years late, but I finally decided to look into putting custom songs into RB3. Me, my wife and my daughter still like to play RB from time to time and have done so for the last 8 years. We pretty much have all the DLC we could ever want and the song list was still feeling stale after all this time.

I just wanted to shoot over a thanks for this guide. It was incredibly easy to follow and worked perfectly. And thank you to all the creators!
