Well, for years people have been asking for the RB2 animations and attitude thing for their characters. Now those people can be happy.
And hey, if they’re going back to RB2.x, maybe we’ll get stage kit support! I was not expecting it for RB4, but would definitely demand it for RB2.x
April 7, 2015 at 7:46 pm #442243Apparently harmonies are not confirmed yet. I’ll be so disappointed if it’s not included.
April 7, 2015 at 8:13 pm #442244They probably just don’t want to accidentally confirm harmonies again.
April 16, 2015 at 3:01 am #442937for those concerned about harmonies, i also noticed this today as well (if you saw their twitter feed yesterday)
April 16, 2015 at 9:11 am #442954I can say with a very high degree of confidence that while it’s a cool catch, it’s not an indication. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Besides, merchandise can be old and also merchandise can just be not 100% accurate, and having a generic mic represent vocals makes sense. This is not to say harmonies WILL be in, but for a number of reasons, that is not proof. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

April 16, 2015 at 12:46 pm #442966To be perfectly honest, I’m waiting to see what single player modes RB4 has before getting onto the hype train. With RB3 I get it out for get-togethers and nothing else, so I’d hope RB4 wouldn’t be more of the same.

RB3 never had the PRO icon for drums. So I’m pretty sure they’re still in.
April 16, 2015 at 3:31 pm #442982My bad someone messaged me on twitter. From my eyes it looked like the patches were on the shirt, but someone pointed out that they are probably left overs from RB1 and 2 and they are just trying to unload them.
April 25, 2015 at 9:51 pm #443705I’m not excited. HMX seems to spend less time going after iconic hit songs, and more time being a shill for the music industry that is desperate to push their crappy modern “talent” and that’s partly because the fanbase has changed so that junk actually sells better. HMX would probably make more money uploading Glee versions of songs than the originals. But I ain’t buying it, so that leaves me waiting for months on end waiting for songs I want to play. So if I’m not the target audience, why bother?
October 2, 2015 at 5:22 pm #456497I’m not that excited. They’ve removed a lot of stuff from Rock Band 3, the song list isn’t that great, and it’s WAY TOO expensive. I can’t even pre-order it at all. But then again, it won’t hurt me at all not to have it, other than not ever being able to play the good songs that actually are included, plus DLC. The only reason to get it is to see better graphics and whatnot. I feel like Rock Band 4 is gonna ruin some things here in the customs forum as well. I would be able to tolerate this all if it wasn’t for the fact that I am completely unable to create customs myself, since no one will help me, and my computer keeps refreshing. So, I’m not looking forward to much.

They didn’t remove anything. They just didn’t add the features you assumed would be in RB4. For it to be “removed” it needs to be in first.
it’s WAY TOO expensive. I can’t even pre-order it at all.
The game is the same price as before. With a $25 adapter you can use your existing instruments. The instrument bundles are a bit more expensive, but not “WAY” more expensive. Unfortunately, this has always been a pricey hobby.

Nothing will change in the forums besides official songs released for RB4 that will be removed. Other than that the forums will continue and there’s lots of great stuff happening.
October 2, 2015 at 7:42 pm #456532The only reason I’m not at all interested, is because I couldn’t get it without buying a PS4 or XB1. I probably would have got it for Wii U, assuming I could use all my DLC from the Wii.
October 2, 2015 at 9:58 pm #456554I don’t like the setlist & can’t use any of my existing instruments because I am still using perfectly working wired drums & guitar. I’ll get it if they patch in wired support or wait for the band box set till Xmas.
I’ve loved Rock Band since the beginning (it was the second game I bought for the 360) but asking me to get excited to play all my old DLC again along with the small hand full of songs 4 has that interest me just doesn’t blow me away.
October 2, 2015 at 10:17 pm #456556I’m not interested in it at the moment but I will probably get it next year. See what other songs are added, etc.
