September 10, 2014 at 10:04 pm #428905Morpheus is currently planned to pair with a PlayStation 4. I’m sure Microsoft will dump out a similar device for the XBox One in time so we’ll just cut Oculus out of it the equation. Why do you feel it wouldn’t work? I’ll pass on Slender. All of the songs officially released through C3 do not a new game make. New aesthetics would be nice. The ability to have a full 7 person band scored properly would be a plus… wait add the ability to play true full band online. Also with these two devices you could look around the stage. You know walk up close to pyrotechnics, look up at the lighting rigs, maybe go out into the audience, so on elect. Not sure how any of that would be bad.
Nothing can suck the soul out of Rock Band then wearing a VR simulator (I’m stuttering cuz I remember the Virtual Boy.) When all we are supposed to care about is how well it plays, how good it looks, and how good the soundtrack is.
My RB4 idea is basiclly RB3, but with Jukebox mode and several new features that make you feel like you’re there without putting on VR goggles.
September 10, 2014 at 10:38 pm #428908You want a good PC game, download Slender: The Eight Pages.I sorta made that thread of yours so you wouldn’t have to do this, you know… ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
Also doesn’t help that I think the game is overrated and one of the reasons modern gaming is going downhill

It’s just a reference and not a complete downhill movement toward a different topic.
Now get over to my thread so I can get a reply on what I found. (I hope this doesn’t count as going off-topic. It’s just a node.)
My opinion still stands. I will not buy a oculus/morpheus rift RB!

Also, we still need the instruments, something that right now is even hard to find. And I think Harmonix is pretty confident about not entering the plastic peripherals business again.

Exactly my point!
October 21, 2014 at 1:53 am #431410Just bumping this thread because a former employee of Harmonix discussed today on his morning show about a potential Rock Band 4. There isnt any confirmation of a new game but the talk about a possible subscription service similar to Spotify for DLC may be the way to go for the future. The discussion begins at about 52 minutes in.
October 22, 2014 at 2:09 am #431427Ah fuck! We need to tell them that RB3 can rival its own sequel with the content here! I can’t lose C3 so early in its life! Tell them if they want it to come to fruitation, screw it and stay the way we are!

And, think about what your saying no to here. New official charts by Harmonix. and also the fact that they haven’t given up on rock band yet, unlike activision, who pretty much killed rhythm gaming because they released like 9 games in 2009, lol.
