So, we have a few dedicated authors here who post some video game related music. Its awesome because I enjoy playing them, its a rush of nostalgia to play, & even 100% my favorite song from say Final Fantasy VII on Pro-Drums or Guitar. My main issue is that some is so synth or electronic that its inhuman to play. I guess the simple way is that they were made by a computer & not really made for a person to actually play. Some lend themselves really well though, like the Final Fantasy series (4 & up). I hope others agree, I dont want to be the only one on this topic 😂.

I may sound crazy, but personally I enjoy the robotic challenge some of those provide.

But I’m totally with you on this if it makes it nearly impossible to play XD

Well thats what Im refiring to haha. The challenge some of them offer is pretty awesome. Though, some is just too unplayable since I play drums & drums are best when theres a pattern haha.

I know some of the ones I’ve done can be hard to play. Especially on Pro, I don’t think it’s necessary to be so ultra-precise if it’s not playable at all.

Its preference in my opinion. Some can play the outrageous stuff with ease. I however find it to be too much of a pain, but thats because Im a patterns kind of drummer. Guitar is usually alright, same with bass.
