I have a question regarding integrating a forum feature into this. You know how when we read a thread it is marked “read” and we can come back next week to the forum and see whats been unread as it’s Bolded? can this be done to the customs database so that those of us who visit only on weekends due to busy lives can catch up quickly where we left off, in order to not miss a single song since last week’s visit?
If not I’ll just keep the database as “Last Updated (DESC) ” and I’ll make note of the date of my last visit using the “Last Updated” column.
Huh, I thought there was a button for this, but there’s not! I’ll add one: http://pksage.com/ccc/IPS/index.php?app=tracker&showissue=40
yeah, i dont think theres a clear way to do this, cuz if i do that, itll notify me everytime a new song is up (wich lately, and thats nice, has been everytime), wich can get very annoying, i guess ill have to check from time to time.
@pksage , any clue if multiplatform links will be added anytime soon? not rushing things, i know u are having a hard work with this, just curious.
I finished this yesterday! I updated the announcement and the bug tracker thread about it. Go and edit one of your customs (or ask your favorite author to do so) to see it. Right now, the links to other platforms are only available in the song detail page, but I’ll be adding them to the list view as soon as I can.

October 5, 2015 at 9:50 pm #456897Will we be able to upload customs that only work with Phase Shift? I know that the majority of customs here are aimed to be played on Rock band.
Also maybe a search filter to search for customs with download links for specific platforms, such as, Xbox, PS3, Phase Shift etc.

Correction, ALL customs here are created to be played on Rock Band on the Xbox 360. Everything else is optional, but this is a requirement for this community.

We may expand into other games in the future, but for at least a while we’re gonna be RB3-360-centric.
Those kinds of filters are coming, I have lots of “obvious” stuff like that which I just haven’t had time to do. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif”>
October 7, 2015 at 10:00 pm #457093you should make it like, tha author would be obligated to add to all platforms, or idk, admins should add the links, cuz it kinda sucks having almost all the links xbox only, there are many cool new customs i would like to have, but.. im a phase shift guy, so so far, i got 0 from it since the end of old c3. I mean, this new C3 thing sounds awesome, but so for only for xbox guys.
October 7, 2015 at 10:19 pm #457095Or you could get C3 CON Tools and convert them yourself.

October 7, 2015 at 11:11 pm #457100Yes, for now the best solution is for people who want to play the song on a platform for which it’s not available yet to just convert the song.
October 8, 2015 at 4:10 pm #457144I have a question about the instrument icons on the new customs database.
The partially filled icon for, say, guitar. Does that mean that it’s not multitrack-style? If that’s the case, then a fully filled icon is multitracked.
I wasn’t sure if there was a post about that yet.
And how can you tell what customs are expert-only?
October 8, 2015 at 4:17 pm #457145You’ll find that if you hover over each icon, your question is answered.
Click on the name of the song, and the Audio Type: field tells you whether it’s multitrack or not.
October 8, 2015 at 4:36 pm #457146So if I use CAT and edit it to make it better do I still have to use Auto/CAT?

It’s all in a state of flux, pksage is spending hours every day on this and some things are still to be addressed. Ideally, your scenario would be a proper reduction, I’m not sure yet how pksage identified it though.
October 8, 2015 at 4:47 pm #457150Ok, thanks.
I want to try make my songs more close to c3 when I release songs in the database.

That’s gonna be great for our community. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
