I did a search of the forums and was really surprised that no one has a Grateful Dead thread going. The Grateful Dead packs that Harmonix released were some of the most fun charts ever released for guitar, and were great fun for the rest of the band as well. As such, here are a handful of selections from the greatest jam band of all time, listed by song and then what album it’s from:

Friend of the Devil – American Beauty

Help on the Way/Slipnot – Blues for Allah

    Bertha – Skull and Roses

Playing in the Band – Skull and Roses

Feel Like a Stranger – Go to Heaven

    Althea – Go to Heaven

West LA Fadeaway – In The Dark

    Shakedown Street – Shakedown Street

All New Minglewood Blues – Shakedown Street

    Good Lovin’ – Shakedown Street

    Estimated Prophet – Terrapin Station

Samson & Delilah – Terrapin Station

    Terrapin Station – Terrapin Station

Loose Lucy – From the Mars Hotel

    St. Steven – Aoxomoxoa

    Thanks for the consideration!

Would love to see more Grateful Dead.

In addition to studio stuff, some live stuff would be great as well. Live albums like Without a Net, Dead Set, and Reckoning are all very polished. Live tunes like Iko Iko, Franklin’s Tower and Eyes of the World are tailor made for Rock Band.

Once I get my charting legs under me (not sure when that will be), the Dead and Phish will be my main focus.
