Me and my co-op buddy played through a bunch of songs today (songs that I re-downloaded yesterday) and we have decided to put them in 3 categories.
Category 1: They’re fine
Jukebox Hero
Messages
Same Old Song and Dance
Flannigan’s Ball
Revolution Deathsquad (syncing was fine, but the lead guitar had a weirdly placed solo section in the second verse, it seemed like one of the solos should have ended but it didn’t)
Famous For Nothing
God Put A Smile Upon Your Face
Category 2: The chart is ahead of the audio, but either A: only by a little or B: the song is easy enough to ignore it (even though the syncing may be a lot off)
In Love
Metal Heavy Lady
Don’t Hold Back
Radio Song
Generation Rock
Category 3: Syncing is very bad, the chart is a lot ahead of the audio, enough so that if you try and play it by “feeling” the rhythm instead of muting your TV and staring at the notes, then you will probably miss a lot more than you should

By the way, I don’t want to sound like I am being difficult or demanding fixes or anything. I just want to help you figure out which ones are off sync, I don’t mean to sound like a jerk

So Payaso (syncing is fine, but there is a bass chart that a custom creator made instead of the rhythm chart that was on GH3, also it seems there is a guitar solo marker or two missing)

Halo Theme (syncing is fine, but there are a lot of forced strums in those two little guitar breaks where the rhythm stops. Also my coop guy said the rhythm chart had a lot of times when there were two notes really close together when there should only be one)

Heroes of Our Time (syncing seems fine, but for some reason there was a newly created bass chart instead of the GH3 rhythm chart)

Slither (the problem is reversed on this one, the audio is a bit ahead of the notes on Slither, on the other songs it’s the other way around)
Chart is ahead of the audio noticably, enough to cause constant mistakes if you concentrate on the “feeling” the rhythm instead of staring at the notes, so these are very hard to play properly unless you concentrate extra hard on
focusing on the notes instead of the audio

We did not chart these, we just converted them from GH to RB3. Any of them that have misplaced notes or that is because they were charted that way. The missing solo markers could be fixed but I am not putting anymore time into fixing things like that. I almost quit doing them originally because not one of them is music that I would listen to once let alone the 15 to 20 times needed to make these.
I will rework the 11 that are way out of sync as to me that is a playability issue that we should have caught when we made them. It will take me some time but I will get them done
Any chance we’ll see any Aerosmith stuff anytime soon? I wouldn’t mind jamming to Toys In the Attic or Mama Kin
