This topic might have been done before so my apologies but, what are some songs with charts you either find hard to play or you just dont like how it had to be charted? This has nothing to do with the charter who probably had to chart it the way they heard it.

      For me

Space Jam comes to mind because its ridiculous on Pro-Drums.

The original Get Lucky chart also was similar in the Pro-Drums department.

Would love to hear more opinions!

The word “disgusting” is too much, I can’t mention any specific custom with that word hanging around. There are indeed some charts where I think ONE specific instrument is quite wrong, but still…

Though your intention may be innocent, I think any chart that gets listed (aside from official HMX) will be met with hurt feelings and defensiveness. Whether or not it’s “heard” that way, the charter is still the one that put the time and energy into working on it and bringing it to the database. And this could also devolve into an attack on charts that people don’t like. Tread carefully.

Oh I fully apologize, my thought was like to say the chart was heard & charted to the best of ability & because of it, it was only charted 1 certain way is what I meant, Ill change the wording but Im pretty sure no matter what this thread will be locked because of the implications that it could hurt feelings that I never meant for.

Yeah, this thread can lead to some bad things if something is said wrong, but I won’t do that because in this case I’m throwing myself under

I hate my chart of Tunak Tunak Tun. So many things just flat out wrong with it. It’s the one chart in my entire catalog that I just can’t stand anymore

Dude I love all your charts! I understand being harsh on yourself though, itll help you get better for future charts I suppose 👍🏻.

I’m all for learning how to chart better, but not in a thread called “charts you dislike” <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” /> Constructive crtiticism please! <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

lets do hmx charts that i found way way off…alot of the clash london calling..

here i find most charters do a great job..and if they mess up are quick to fix it

life buddy i know you like to make posts keep people talking in here,,but in this case youd have been better taking that energy to learn to chart your own, then inviting contempt.

how would you feel next week cause of your post..well use far as an example… someone says something that upsets far enough he never charts again…

use your head lil buddy..use your head please.

Let me try to save the OP’s reputation here by explaining what he meant (as clearly everyone is thinking the same thing – bad charts).

It’s not bad charts, it’s songs that because of the nature of how the song is (difficult, awkward, etc.) you don’t like to play (but wish you could).

So, for instance, I have a couple like that that are my own charts. It sucks to play them because I love the song but never expected the chart to be so infuriating to play. Brainstorm Tin Drums is one. There is such over-complication in some of the rolls that it turns me off from wanting to play it, yet I love the song. Thankfully I can sing it too. Lourdes Royals (HMX) on drums sucks the life out of me too, but I like the song a lot.

So you see friends, that’s what he was trying to get out of you. Unfortunately, it still won’t go well, because you’re going to name a chart someone else did. They themselves might be critical of how they charted it (I’m my absolute worst critic), which will cause unneeded anguish.

The best thing to do in this thread is just to close it. It was the best intentions, but honestly, nothing good will come of it.

I agree with everything you said man, I tried for my topic today, but yes if its necessary to close the topic as to relieve unneeded stress & aggravation, it might be for the best.

My drum chart for Animal Crossing (Summer) of the MK8 soundtrack. It’s very awkward to switch between yellow and blue so much… I’ve had thoughts of simplifying that beat to simply yellow notes.

I personally love the MK8 charts, but to be honest most video games soundtracks similar are awkward charts because its chiptunes or electronic music. Although Guitar is usually very fun!

Thanks, and I agree that a lot of video game songs can be awkward. But thinking about it again, I feel Rainbow Road is definitely the most awkward one as far as drums…hard to get more tedious than a good ol’ robot drummer :derp:

Haha youre damn right about that dude. I love Video Game music though so the more the merrier in my opinion. Im a singer & drummer primarily, but love a good drum challenge or guitar challenge haha
