All this time I’ve been trying to figure out which tool inside C3 CON tools to use for extraction… And the answer was just dragging the file directly into the main window. The answer was literally right in front of me lol. Thank you both for your responses, I’m now able to extract the midi and upgrades.dta files and from there I know how to get them on my PS3.
June 26, 2020 at 1:03 am #512336Thank you for your work, Ruggy. Can anyone explain how I can extract the midi and dta files from these files so I can convert the upgrades to use on PS3?
Sorry for the delay, I guess is the same way of placing RBHP content on PS3. I guess you can create a “songs_upgrades” folder on the same folder as you place customs, aside with the “songs” folder, and drop the upgrades.dta and the midi file converted to .edat (you can do this with C3 CON Tools).
August 12, 2020 at 10:17 pm #513438Does anybody know where a pro guitar/bass upgrade of bodhisattva can be found. I checked the spreadsheet and winrar files multiple times but its not there.
November 3, 2020 at 3:04 pm #514928Hi @Ruggy are you still active on this project? I am looking forward to learning how to chart Pro Guitar/Bass but there is no documentation on the RBN wiki… is there any documentation available at all?

Hey Shroud, it’s getting hard to find freetime to work further on the project, so it’s a little abandoned atm.
As for the pro g/b docs, there’s my guide that you can download CLICKING HERE
Since I did this guide a while ago, if you have any problem dealing with it, there’s this online guide with .mid examples and gifs! I’m still writing it, so there are a few things you can find on the .pdf guide, but not on the online guide. CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE ONLINE GUIDE

That’s awesome! Thanks a lot ” data-emoticon=”” src=”
/emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” title=”” /> I am going to take a look inside some of your Pro upgrades for the RBHP project as examples. I see that your guide also mentions training sections, do you have those as well in your upgrade midi files? I don’t think customs usually have training sections at all, and I am interested also in adding them to existing customs which already have Pro Guitar/Bass. Do you think training sections work the same for Pro Keys also?

All released and revised upgrades can be found on this folder.
A spreadsheet with a release history can be found here.
I went to the download link and tried to take a look inside some of those files, but I could not figure out how. They don’t seem to be CON files, so C3 CON Tool doesn’t open them or extract their content, and neither they are zipped files, nor MIDI or DTA (I would expect those files to anyway contain both MIDI + DTA for Pro Guitar/Bass). So what are they, and do I open them? ” data-emoticon=”” src=”
/emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” title=”” /> November 15, 2020 at 12:36 pm #515050@Ruggy I found your Pro upgrades from another location (the RBHP GIT repository) and took a look inside Don’t Fear The Reaper as an example. I have a couple of questions.
How do you make velocity values visible on the notes in Reaper tracks, like they are seen in your tutorial?
What is the easiest way to enter/edit velocity values in Reaper?
Also (but this is a specific question on this song chart) at some point about where the guitar solo starts, the Pro Guitar and Pro Bass charts become empty. Did I just download an unfinished version of this upgrade?

Eventually this is an issue with the RBHP file, the Pro Guitar/Bass tracks for “Don’t Fear the Reaper” are incomplete, but Ruggy’s version is complete instead.
