So I felt I should start a thread here since I am going to try and start giving back (I know I’ve taken quite a bit!)

      A quick little bio:
I am absolutely in the minority here for I cannot play Rock Band, (I can’t distinguish the HO/POs) so I convert everything to GH3 and play on my XBOX JTag. I have it down to a science actually and can bang out a full custom disc (converting charts from here) in a day maybe 2 depending on the chart quality.

I am also old school, meaning I do all my own authoring in Feedback still, then convert them to RB through Reaper and magma. For some odd reason when I author in Reaper, the conversion to GH is way off but the other way around seems to work for me.

Cleaning up the thread a bit

If it’s not obvious, I love me some Hair Bands!!

So I decided to take a crack at converting some of IaSg14’s charts. I have only done the 1 for now to see how they turn out.

Here is the first one. Again, I did not author this, it is a conversion from http://customscreators.com/index.php?/topic/18817-iasg14-clone-hero-customs/

I’m adding it to the Help Wanted page for someone to add drums.

Lemme know how it turned out. I do see I need to fix some of the HO/POs manually but other than that it looked pretty good to me.

Hey thanks man, yeah I loved Ratt back in the day and this was for sure my favorite from them. I was surprised it hadnt been done before. Saw them recently, wish I skipped it. Steven sounds like crap.

All I play is guitar so I have no plans to add any instruments but would love it if someone else felt like adding drums-vocals-etc…

Man going from Feedback to Reaper is very challenging but it is coming along. I was an old school charter back in the Scorehero days for GH2 and just started up again. I still think GH3 was the best engine since I only play guitar so I just make GH3 XBOX customs for myself to play. Conversion of RB charts is so easy compared to vise versa. I can do guitar and bass charts, and jerry seems to like my song selections and is doing drums. Anyone want to add vocals to some of these?

There is more in the pipeline, just waiting to post until the are a little more reaper friendly.

Some of my XBOX GH3 custom discs include

            ACDC Bon Scott version

            ACDC Brian Johnson

Motley Row (Crue, Skid Row, Poison, Warrant, and Cinderella)

            80s Hairbands Vol 1 and 2

            Zep

Iron Maiden Vol 1 and 2

            Def Roses (Leppard and Guns)

            Bowie/Cars and Talking Heads

            Kiss/Scorpions

            Jimi

            WIP

            Sabbath/Ozzy

            Megadeth

            Van Halen

Each disc has 41 tracks and just guitar. I’d be more than happy to share anything I have or convert to C3 standards. I’ll be making some videos at some point, once I am able to put Reaper down. ARGGG it’s so different, wish I just started from scratch instead of knowing what I do.

            Anyway, that’s it

Just added some missing AC/DC to the database, have a few other AC/DC to finish to help finish the catalog. At least the Bon Scott years.

Thanks for converting Wasted! As you said, I can see some HOPOs that need turning into strums and there’s a section towards the end of the solo where a blue sustain that was originally a B-O extended sustain needs to be an orange sustain instead.
That’s all I can think of that needs changing for now but I can’t really remember the original chart inside out. I reckon it’s pretty much there.
