Has anyone used the new drum kit ? Is it better than Madcatz version ?

Amazon hasn’t delivered my band in a box yet – even though I preordered it with release date delivery back in August…
However, the early indications on reddit are not good. Sounds like multi-hits happen a lot. If mine do that (if and when I ever get the box), it’s refund time.
Would love to hear what others say – anyone out there with the new PDP drums?
FYI If you have old pro cymbals from RB3, they will not work on the PDP drums. Confirmed to not be compatible by PDP support.
Between this and the frequent double hits I was getting, I have returned my band in a box and will not rebuy. Instead purchased Rivals digitally and will continue to use my GH World Tour drums with the legacy adapter. I hate those drums, but at least they work as intended…
