      Someone mentioned…

The Doobie Brothers – What a Fool Believes

…on here the other day, which got me started. There’s loads of guilty-pleasures that were all over (and probably remain all over?) the radio of my youth. Probably a tiny bit UK-centric, but to my eyes, the biggest gaps in the library are:

Bruce Hornsby and the Range – The Way It Is

Don Henley – Boys of Summer

      Richard Marx – Hazard

Boy Meets Girl – Waiting for a Star to Fall

Van Morrisson – Brown Eyed Girl

      Toto – Africa

      Chris Isaak – Wicked Game

      Peter Gabriel – Solsbury Hill

Deacon Blue – Reaal Gone Kid

Aztec Camera – Summer in the City

John Cougar Mellencamp(sic?) – Jack and Diane

Most people know them inside-out from endless airplay, ripe for RB-ing!? Apologies in advance if I’ve lumped ‘credible’ artists and ‘pop’ stuff together, but it’s the radio ubiquity and big sounds we’re after, eh?

+1 to pretty much all these!
