I legitimately cannot wait to drum along to Echoes (my favourite song of all time) and One of These Days.

I’ve never dived into Phaseshift and would love to play these on Pro Drums for RB3. How easy is it to convert these into cons? Also just to throw in a request: The Zombies “Time of the Season”.

Animals is one of my favourite albums, and I’m glad to see you charted the drum parts!

Now, I don’t play drums in Rock Band, so I would love to finish Dogs for use as a custom by adding all the other instruments in. I wanted to tackle it myself anyway, minus the drums, but what stopped me from doing it was making the tempo map for such an epic song. But you’ve already done that, so this is the perfect opportunity to have one of my favourite tracks as a custom!

Also, if you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to re-do the acoustic guitar bits, since they’re currently a bit too overcharted.

there is a guide in this forum, just search for reaper and magma and it will be ok.

Yes, you can edit guitar part if you know how to do it well, convert it to rb3 if you want.

Hey dude, been converting your Floyd charts into RB3 since January/Feb and they’re really good on drums. I know you don’t like doing guitar so much, but you do a really good job of charting Dave’s solos. Dogs is pretty rough, but damn the solos are fun to play. I’d kill to have guitar for Echoes and have contemplated charting it myself, but I’m having problems finding good tabs that don’t require Guitar Pro 6. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for at least letting me drum through 4 great albums.

thank you very much dude, i hope you enjoyed my stuff, i recently added some little fixes before uplaoding to the blog, so you have to check them back again.

I simply got tired of charting normal guitar, i would like to chart pro guitar but it is imposible to me, it because i like now only pro mode instruments. thats what im now in C3, to contribute. I know that guys from frets on fire fan forum where working on converting some of my customs and other’s people customs into RB3.

A guy who charts very nice (but sometimes overcharts a lot) off that forum wanted to create guitar to echoes, last time he was going into pro mode, and we talked about Echoes, but he wants to do many other stuff before doing echoes. i sent a pm to him but, im waiting for his response.

Is Reaper necessary in converting these to play in RB3? I understand that I need to use Magma to make the con from the files provided. I just thought Reaper was mainly used to chart the songs which doesnt seem necessary if the chart has already been made.

Thank you for all the awesome hard work on these charts, Oscar. I did find one issue on the download sheet on your blog. The ZZ Top Heard it on the X link seems to lead to Led Zeppelin Moby Dick. I’d love to download the ZZ Top file when you get a chance to fix the link. Thank you.

Of couse, only magma is for conversions, reaper (or eof) is for charting.

Awesome you posted these. Love drumming and drumming on RB3 (Yamaha DTXpress III). I downloaded ZZ Tops first album and am unsure on what to do with files inside. Any advice would be appreciated. I am going to watch CCC’s authoring video on Sunday.

i don’t know much about that, i guess you have to use some tools like Magma to convert them to RB3.

Maybe our first livestream – but not our first video

From the authoring thread (just in case anyone never stumbled over it):

Trying to convert Echoes over to RB3 using Magma but I get errors during the building process.

It looks like there was an error creating the RBA file.

Isnt Magma supposed to auto generate the Track Events and Beat? Looks to me I need to edit the notes.mid file in Reaper but am lost in doing so.
