I might try charting “You Can Call Me Al” MAYBE

+1 for this, considering the amount of 80’s packs and certain authors being big fans of the 80’s its quite shocking that “You Can Call Me Al” hasn’t been done, its such a popular song.

I think the bass in Al may be deserving of a tier above devils.

It always kind of bugged me that Simon “plays the bass” in the music video, when he had absolutely nothing to do with the all-time amazing bass break that is on the recording.

Listen closely and you’ll notice that amazing bass break (and yes, it is amazing) is only half a bass break. The second half is a backward play of the first half.

That may be obvious to some but I never noticed it until I read about itin trivia attached to a list of someone’s favorite breaks. The drum entrance in “In the Air Tonight” was #1 in that list.

True that! I believe this would be pretty fun to play as well. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Yep…I never knew this until I read the article that I posted above. It’s pretty ingenious work by the engineer. Geoff Emrick would’ve approved.
