      Love more Pearl Jam & really love getting Jungle Love. And for the record, I am old enough to remember both albums & cassettes having 2 sides that influenced the way an album flowed.

       

      I can’t wait for In the City– great song that only gets better in the movie.

          Here is the second installment of a new segment to our posts. This is where we discuss this week’s songs.

           

          Firstly, before someone says they would have picked a different Prince song, let me say Screwdriver is a great song. It will play well in RB. It is a rockin’ track that is more rock than pop. Please, give it a play, it may be your new favorite Prince song. All I am saying… is give Prince a chance.

           

          Next Joe Walsh – In the City, I know someone will say it was on the Eagles’ Long Run. It was first recorded as a solo track for Joe Walsh for the Warriors movie, while he was in the Eagles. The Eagles liked the song so much they wanted it for their next album, The Long Run. The rest is history.

           

          All of this week’s tracks are really great. We did not pick any one song as #200. We don’t number our songs so when we hit a milestone like this we try to plan a set list that are all well known artists or songs. We hope you enjoy them. I can only imagine what we will do for #300, I hope we get to find out real soon. Thank you to all of you who join in every week with guesses on hints and downloading the songs.           This week a special mention must be made of how super awesome clintilona is, not only did he have 3 correct answers, but gave an awesome hint instead of answering a 4th. In case you missed it he gave everyone a bonus clue for the Prince song.

          So close on that Prince guess. I would research the answer further, but I think I will go make myself a vodka based cocktail instead.

          Dash and clintilona both got credit for Rocky Mountain Way as they answered at almost the same time.

           

          Also on a side note, we love Life’s Been Good too. It is really long though, so maybe in the future. As of now, there is no plan to do it, sorry. But, you never know. There are a ton of great authors here on the C3 site, both C3 people and those that rock the other customs thread. Maybe playing these 2 classic Joe Walsh songs will inspire one of them.
