Hello everyone,
I have sought and received permission from original author Ultimate_MANG0 to release the full 12-minute version of Meat Loafs hit ballad Id Do Anything For Love (But I Wont Do That). He made a fantastic version of the shorter radio edit, the parts of which I will absolutely convert into the longer version. I wanted to put this message out here for two reasons…
First off in case anyone else is doing it or about to do it, because it is an extensive piece of work and I would hate to have wasted my time or anyone elses by making it concurrently.
Second, if anyone else would like to assist with this project, please let me know. Im aiming to complete the guitar and vocals chart, and Im hoping to include and update the drum and bass parts that Ultimate_MANG0 has already made, but depending on how long the guitar and vocals take, I may not have the energy to do the remainder! Ultimate_MANG0 has declined to join the project at this time as he is understandably busy with other projects, but he has given his blessing to using his version as a template for a longer edit.
Also Im sure I have read somewhere that RB3 does not allow songs over 10 minutes, so if anyone knows whether this is true or not, please let me know

I’d be down to help in some way, but I don’t even have a computer, so I’ll just say that I can’t wait.
Also, while the RBN had an arbitrary 10 minute cap, this doesn’t apply to customs, so you don’t have to worry about that.

After almost three months I have finally completed the guitar, vocals and drum part for the 12-minute version. I’m just working through the reductions. After thinking long and hard about it, I’m not going to attempt bass or keys. Keys for this track I could be trying to chart for the next several years as I have zero experience as it stands, and on bass I sometimes don’t hear it as it should be and make a mess of it. And I don’t want to make a mess of this one because it is such an iconic song. Therefore I’ll ask again if there is anybody out-there who wants to tackle either the bass or keys tracks (a large proportion of which was originally done by Ultimate_MANG0 when he charted the original shorter edit), possibly someone who will play those tracks and can develop them in their style, I will give you a link to the files.
