Do you think there will ever be a work around to get E Drums to work ?

If not I will  have a full band kit for Xbone to get rid off.  <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

      There already is…

Not for the faint of heart, but I have no doubt that this method will be refined over time, making it easier for the electronically challenged.

I ask a friend of mine on the dev team, and they’re working on it.

That part of the electronics is easy to make into a one-stop shop.  I’m hesitant to make a PCB when they could just announce something next week.

The other part is still a hot mess – hacking into the RB2/RB3/Beatles kit and connecting the MIDI PCB’s output into the old drum pad connections.  No way around that.

Have you seen the release dates change on the Best Buy website? It went from 10/6 to 10/8 yesterday it was 10/12 and today it says 10/9. Today is the 11th and it still says coming soon. However, I tried to get one from Mad Catz and they had 4 left but sadly they sold 9out while I was creating my account. DOH! So I just went with the guitar bundle. Will pick up a band in the box bundle to complete my set. Maybe get the adapter so I can use my Bass!

Sorry for hijacking thread but I don’t know whether this question warrant for a specific thread to be created.

If I buy a full band kit for Rock Band 4 on PS4 will they work for Rock Band 3 on PS3? In other words, are the controllers backwards compatible?

Is it possible to switch back and forth between RB3 and RB4 using the same instrument? So far, I can only do this by re-syncing each time I switch machines.

That’s the only way since you’re connecting to a different console each time.
