    RPP: https://www.dropbox.com/s/o4fdwy3ldtknrbt/Circus%20Maximus%20-%20Abyss.rar?dl=0

This is the first song that I’ve charted for RB3, and I plan on completing at least 1 a month.

    Reserved Songs

Glory of the Empire – Circus Maximus (In progress)

Burn After Reading – Circus Maximus

When All Is Lost – Symphony X

    The Odyssey – Symphony X

Edit: Updated Visualizer & Dropbox Link

Very quick analysis, since Nyx is busy with restoring power to his house…

Very tough song, guitar is buried and cymbals are too. With that said:

      – Vocals are extremely rough. They are authored on a 1/16th grid (you need go to at leasdt 1/64th), they miss a lot of slides and timing is most of the time off unfortunately. You need to check note by note to have your tubes start when the vocals start, ignoring the hard consonants.

      – Drums seem generally good, though some cymbals are off and I spotted more than a few snare in place of kicks.

      – For guitar, you should differentiate mute and chords, otherwise different sounding notes get represented by the same gems.

It’s a very quick check but it’s just to give you an idea of where you stand. Also, why the custom made Visualizer image?

      Here is the updated version:https://www.dropbox.com/s/yhhyrdrhblr8ac8/Abyssxdr.RPP?dl=0

      – Re-charted all of the vocals

      – Fixed (I think) all of the bad snares (2 in the fill right before verse 1 and a few in the motifs)

      – Added toms to the end-of-verse fills that I previously missed

      – Changed a few chords that were muted earlier in the song

      – Changed some cymbals (especially the chorus rides)

I’m not sure which cymbals are off. I tried to put the bigger crashes on green, and the fast crashes/chinas/splashes

on blue (secondary chinas on green). When hitting the ride, I put most of them on green.

I did not know how to make the visualizer and didn’t want to look around for it or start a thread, so I opened the one on Gigakoops’s example in paint.net and made myself a template from it. Also I like the Ubuntu font and having my name in the bottom corner.

That can cut it for the generic Other Customs forum but not for a pitch for an official release. You need to show whoever might pick this up that you’re willing to put the effort needed. Besides, you just download the C3 CON Tools package and that’s it.

I’m at a loss for words really. Just impressive.

Ah, thank you, I must have somehow overlooked that. Is it alright if I mess with the .png files for the visualizer, or do you want it to look the same as all the others?

Thank you, it’s not near as impressive as the CON Tools visualizer, but I appreciate the compliment.

The Visualizer lets you add your own logo. For the rest, it’s standardized so that people can find information easily, plus it really looks less “professional” if you mess with it in Paint. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”> With that said, a Visualizer picture is the least of the issues when it comes to learning authoring.
