Customs have spoiled me.

With so much awesomeness and variety of music I’ve experienced using customs in the past couple of months, I feel like I’ve soured the hype of RB4. Not being able to play some of these bands in RB4 really lessens my anticipation for the game. Does anyone else feel the same way? I guess customs have just spoiled me, oh well, I’ll always have them, it just would have been sweeter on the current gen systems.

Well, I think most of us feel the same way – life after customs will never be the same. Harmonix just simply can’t match the breadth of content that customs makes possible.

For me, I’m more excited for RB4 because I barely ever play RB3 anymore. All the customs I really wanted I either did or were done already, so new stuff is cool but nothing I’m excited about with some very few exceptions. RB4 will introduce new goals to complete, story mode (RPG?), things to unlock, etc – which for me will breathe life into the game again.

But hey, nobody’s is saying we can’t have both RB3 and RB4 ready to go at a moment’s notice ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

Even if the new RPG mode cant be played online with friends I’m more intrigued to play this mode then actual quickplay online. If the RPG mode has coop online thats even better. I completely agree that customs has spoiled future official releases for RB4 but there is still alot of hardcore players out there that wont touch customs due to one thing. No online leaderboards. Its a worse addiction than crack cocaine to see how your skills match up with other people around the world.

I’d be shocked if pro faceoff didnt come back for RB4 after a large amount of people demanded it to come back.

I will have my 360 for parties and my xbox one for me and the wife pretty much, until the content on rb4 starts to take over…
