Hello everyone and welcome to another community mixtape event, this time focused around Valentine’s Day! We bring you songs of love and devotion, breakup and regret, for your gaming pleasure. Be sure to grab the whole set for your Valentine’s Day Rock Band Party!

Once again I would like to thank everyone who participated in this community event. “Bewitching Eyes” by Darren Korb charted by VeeKiraRay (DOWNLOAD LINK)

VeeKiraRay writes “Hades II was in my top 3 of games released in 2025 with lot of great music by Darren
Korb. Especially the tracks with “Scylla and the Syrens” which are a band and a stage boss in the game were a highlight for me.

The song unlocks as a theme for the boss fight after Melinoe (player) has defeated them repeatedly.

According to Scylla, the song was mostly written by Jetty, band’s guitarist. The song being a love ballad implies that Jetty is in love with Melinoe, especially since Scylla openly denies any such feelings towards her. The lyrics imply Scylla as the voice of the song and this could either be a stylistic choice by Jetty or Scylla might be lying to save face.

Hãy Trao Cho Anh (feat. Snoop Dogg) by Sơn Tùng M-TP (2019) by ProfessorBass (DOWNLOAD LINK)

ProfessorBass writes “This track is part of the Valentine’s Mixtape ’26 alongside ProfessorBass’s “Tet Nguyen Đan Track Pack 1“. Hay Trao Cho Anh is a Reggaeton love song written in Vietnamese by Son Tung M-TP with a verse featuring Snoop Dogg. Definitely one of those crossovers of all time.

NOTE: Due to Rock Band’s limitation on displaying text for the vocal engine, all the lyrics are written in standard roman alphabet. To get the correct Vietnamese text for the track, you have to download and play the YARG version which includes proper tonal and accent markers.

“Love Will Keep Us Together” by Captain & Tennille (1975) charted by MrPrezident (DOWNLOAD LINK)

Don “Captain Keyboard” Dragon and Toni Tennille are best known for their cover versions of popular Neil Sedaka songs, this was the first of many to come. A very popular love song from the 70’s and another “I can’t believe this wasn’t charted” song is now available to enjoy!

Yaniv writes ” ‘Stop! In the Name of Love‘ is a definitive 1965 anthem of the Motown era. Driven by a dramatic string arrangement and a persistent “four-on-the-floor” beat, the track serves as a high-stakes plea for fidelity, famously punctuated by the trio’s synchronized “hand- to-the-heart” and “stop” choreography. The real star of the show is Diana Ross – her lead vocal is a masterclass. And overall it’s one of the best and most famous songs of it’s kind and time.
