División Minúscula is a Mexican alternative rock band that was initially characterized by its pop punk sound, originating from Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Formed by brothers Javier Caballero Blake on vocals, Alejandro Caballero Blake on drums, and with Alejandro Luque on bass, Ricardo Pérez on lead guitar and Eduardo Vela on guitar, with Bucho on keyboards.
Extrañando Casa

In 2001 they released their first album titled Extrañando casa, this album contained a total of thirteen songs from which “Televidente” and “Cursi” were extracted as singles.

Defecto Perfecto

In 2006 they released their second album entitled Defecto Perfecto, achieving greater popularity in the media, even making it onto the charts of the commercial television station MTV Latin America. From this album their first single, Sismo, was released. Later they released as their second single Veneno es antídoto (S.O.S:), which was followed by the third, Sognare, a Rock ballad, a new style played by the group. In 2011 División Minúscula published a video explaining the shape they would give to their new album, as well as announcing that former guitarist Ricci Pérez was rejoining the band.
In 2012 the album «División» was released, including 11 songs. Months later the first unofficial single from the album «S.E.D» was released, leading to the official single «Voces» and «Humanos Como Tú»

Secretos

In 2016 División Minúscula released their first EP titled “Secretos” from which the first track “Frenesí” was released. The band announced plans to record their first live album at the Teatro Metropolitan.

Fronteras

Fronteras is División Minúscula’s first live album. On this album they created new versions of great songs, great hits and great memories of the band. The band also took the Fronteras concert to other places in Mexico, filling all the places they went to.

Escombros
Escombros, released in 2023, is the band’s latest material released to date, which features the integration of guitarist Eduardo Vela, having the song “Laberintos” as a single. The album has 8 songs, plus 2 bonus songs with collaborations from David Summers of Hombres G and Luis Humberto Navejas of Enjambre.

Throughout their career the band has some songs outside of their albums, such as the track N-Amigo for the album Nuevos Tiempos, Viejos Amigos, the song “Que No Quede Huella” as a tribute to Bronco on the album Tributo Al Mas Grande, the song “En Mi Coche” from the tribute album to Hombres G, and a performance of the song En Algun Lugar.
