The Twelve Days of Customs 2014, Day One

Looking for yesterday’s weekly release? Scroll down or click here!

Once again, it’s time for The Twelve Days of Customs, a series of personal gifts from our authors to you, our players!
Starting today, we’ll be announcing one song every day through December 24, and then releasing them in a megapack on December 25. The songs aren’t Christmas- or holiday-themed; they’re personally selected by each author, usually for their fame, status as a community favorite, or that author’s personal attachment to the song. We hope you’ll look forward to each day’s reveal!
Like last year, we’re also taking this opportunity to let you get to know our authors a little bit better. Each day’s announcement will be accompanied by a little blurb from that author, about their involvement with C3 or pretty much whatever they want. Today’s reveal is from C3 admin Nyxyxylyth! Hit the rest of this post for Nyx’s write-up and the big reveal, and check back tomorrow for day 2 of The Twelve Days of Customs!

The release of The Zombies’ “She’s Not There” and “Tell Her No” left a gaping hole in the RB3 catalog – whatever happened to “Time of the Season”? Perhaps it was left on the table because it was too heavy on keys. Whatever the reason, some of the best call-and-response vocals imaginable are now yours to enjoy. Be warned – only the bravest among you should take on the keys. Rod Argent is a beast.
Props to Farottone for goading me into it. It’s always been on my list, but charting those keys was a real brain expander.

(Remember, this is just a reveal; all of the songs will be released together on December 25. Check back tomorrow for another awesome song!)
