So, here it is, one of the iconic power ballads of the 90s from one of the most requested bands ever. Before I go on, I want to do something I usually don’t do and dedicate this release to Nunchuck. Nunchuck is an outstanding member of our community who has recently lost someone very dear to him. I know that this song is not really about heaven but in 1992 Guns ‘N Roses performed an amazing rendition of this song at the Freddy Mercury Tribute concert and from that moment on to me it always sounded like a tribute to people no longer with us. I’d like to believe that people who will download this song from all over the world are gonna give a small thought to a good man before playing it. Nunchuck, this one’s for you.
Now on to “OMG where are my keys?!”. Right, so, I’m upset too but the mix in this double album is punishing and keys go in and out. You can clearly hear them at times, and then it’s 10 measures of guitars burying everything. For that reason I had to leave them out. It was not an easy decision but it was either this way or no way, and considering the importance of the song we went for it. Hey, we can pretend to be in an alternate universe where RB3 actually got harmonies and awesome licensing deals with temperamental 90s rock legends but not keys support! Merry Xmas everybody!
(Remember, this is just a reveal; all of the songs will be released together on December 25. Check back tomorrow for another awesome song!)
not have keys :/
