“Impressive, Solo. Most impressive.”
Perfect.
The Longest Time can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3646&start=680#p58644Rock on!
Oh sweet, thank you!
Fun Carry on is already done it is somewhere on this site and some nights i think is dlc“Some Nights” is a custom here, but “Some Nights (Intro)” is the first song on the album that leads into “Some Nights” and would be awesome to have both! I found “Carry On” but to quote TrojanNemo’s review of the file’s audio:
“it clips horribly and sounds like shit”

Just a quick question – I was scrolling through the favorite bass songs and I noticed Pink Floyd’s “Goodbye Blue Sky”. Was this a custom at a time that I missed or is there a secret stash of Pink Floyd songs that I do not know about?

For whatever reason, Billy Joel’s “The Mexican Connection” and “Nocturne” are absent from the favorite song on keys drop-down ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />
Awesome idea and I can’t wait to cast my vote but I certainly want to give the favorite keys part to Mexican Connection, no doubt.
Ah yes, finally! Pink Floyd’s seminal album Dark Side of the Earth

All these noobs in here. The Rapture! 2 year anniversary for C3! Big pack incoming hopefully! It’s not gonna be big as the number of hints suggest. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> But it’s gonna be very cool. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
Or….Kool??!?
I’ll see myself out
Oh, #4 is Celebration by Kool & the Gang?
This makes sense.
Oh shoot, right lol.
I knew C3’s birthday/anniversary/whateveryouwanttocallit was in April but I forgot it was this early.
I will never stop being surprised by now little dates and such come into considerations when guessing songs. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />So April 10 is apparently National Sibling Day…which could have interesting releases
Hey there Rockers,– The album this song comes from is not only the first with a new singer, but the first without the vocalists that made the band famous.
– The next track comes from a landmark album that sold over 1 million copies the week of its release.
– The video for this song was the first collaboration between the video’s director and this artist. The director went on to have directed many videos by huge artists including several by this artist.
– This song was a #1 hit on the Pop and R&B charts. It was one of the last disco hits before the end of the disco era.
– This artist has a Guinness Book World Record and has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide.
Oh man, I kinda hope I’m wrong about these, but they seem to be matching up.
The last hint matches the description of Robbie Williams from Take That.
The second one matches Backstreet Boy’s Millennium album.
I’m crossing my fingers that I’m wrong, but at the same time I’m secretly not.
Guilty Pleasures C02?
Grammar tangent:
No no no, ‘their’ and ‘its’ are not proper.
Since the preceding statement is “to each” it must use a singular pronoun, which eliminates ‘their’, as that is plural.
‘Its’ is not proper either because it is improper to use to describe a human being.
It’s absolutely fine and proper to say “to each his own,” because in any case that you want to generalize the target’s gender (for simplicity’s sake), you use the masculine form.
But in the case that you are some butt-hurt Modern day political-correctness Nazi want to be progressive, you can say “to each his or her own.” And that’s it.
On the topic of the releases:
While it may not be a “download them all” sort of week for me, I’m sure others will find plenty in the great releases this week. I’ll be picking up “Only You” by The Flying Pickets (for my tastes, I can always count on Farottone) and hoping the original version of “Fuck You” makes its appearance some day
Ok, one big clue: images are literal.Makes me wish #4 was “Leaving on a Jet Plane” by Peter, Paul and Mary (or a cover), but…that’s no moon jet plane
And if #3 was “Fuck You” by Cee-Lo Green, that would be stellar as well.
But hey, they’ll be great no matter what.
The theme seems to be that of departure, though, for what it’s worth.
Two incredible weeks in a row!
“We will try to revisit this album in the future.”
Hopefully this means any as well, I’m really looking forward to Don’t Damn Me, Dead Horse, Coma, Breakdown, Estranged, Rocket Queen, Patience, and One in a Million, to name a few. Or a bit more than a few.
Hell, unless they decide to release Meat Loaf’s Bat Out of Hell I & II in their entirety in RB4 (which I believe is actually impossible due to the masters being destroyed or otherwise unavailable), I have plenty of good reasons to have both and use both regularly.
You guys have released stuff that I’m almost sure that Harmonix never will, like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, along with tons of other awesome tracks that I just don’t see being covered in official Rock Band content and I’m assuming that is going to be a trend that continues (this week’s customs are awesome!).
On a side note that’s slightly related, has Harmonix said anything about vocal harmonies returning? I’m praying they don’t take them away – from my perspective it doesn’t make sense that they would, since they’re already doing vocals, but then again I’ve never charted a song. They claim they’re going “back to their roots” which does not exactly include harmonies, and, well…Rock Band 4 will have a hard time competing with my Rock Band 3 play time if that is the case, even if I primarily play guitar.
