Shinedown Simple Man great cover! Thanks again for an awesome week!

      “Only You”:

“This is also our first ever all instruments vocal song: all parts of this cover song have been recorded on vocals, including percussions.”

That must have been crazy difficult to chart without stems.

      Thanks to all this week!

That a capella song is going to be entertaining. The Rockapella song (“Bang”) that came out on RBN was a blast, and I was sad that the Kid Beyond song that was released was a normal instrumental song, since he’s a talented beatboxer with several impressive all-vocal songs that would have been fun. I also kept hoping that Strong Bad’s “The System is Down” would make it to Rock Band someday.

Gonna have to listen through the rest

Must say, I’m pretty excited for “Fuck You”

I’ll take anything from any Punk Goes… Album with open arms.

Definitely interesting covers. The original version of Fuck You I think would still be a blast to play, but the cover still sounds alright. I will continue to not understand the appeal of screamo, and an album cover featuring three (four?) very punchable faces isn’t helping. To each his own though.

        1. Because there is a lot of emotional punch to screams and it sounds great

        2. “his”?

“Their”, would be ‘proper’, if you’re going for a gender-neutral pronoun (“his” is also proper, technically).

I know they use the term “screamo” in their video titles and “album” titles, but it’s really more metalcore than anything. For the most part their stuff is in the same vein as Punk Goes Pop stuff, only with a tad bit more screaming.

Also, if it helps you want to punch them less, they’re all pretty chill dudes. They love the songs they cover, they love what they do, and they are happy to give me multitracks to make these customs. I’m definitely gonna do more of their stuff for sure.

“Cat Punching” is the name of my Pussy Riot cover band.

          I’m not sorry.

I honestly don’t get how it’s such a hard concept to grasp. Plus, “their” is also a term for multiple people, so you could just think of it as that.

Forced Gender-Neutral Political Correctness turns my stomach is all. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Let’s get the thread back on track:

Shinedown’s “Simple Gender-Neutral Person” was really fun to voc-tar. Thanks! :v:
