  • Feel free to remove my name from this list. With CH adding drums support, I only see mutual benefit to opening things up and allowing charters/authors to update charts with drums/guitar.

I will say this: my reason for wanting to be added on the list has everything to do with crossover between C3 and the CH community. If the C3->CH conversions come to an end, I’d be glad to have my name removed from the list. When I have to explain to streamers why “my” chart doesn’t have slider notes or why they have duplicates of my chart, it gets frustrating. I don’t play RB3 customs and I don’t think I ever will be able to, which means I’ll never author my charts with C3 in mind, which is why I’ve given Beard permission in the past to do as he wishes with converting my charts back when I was just charting for Phase Shift.

    Sounds like the conversation ended.

For what its worth, I dont think the entire C3 database should have been converted to CH. And I know many of us feel the same, potentially Gabe too.

So while were at it, I guess Id like my name added to that list. Whats done is done, and I dont expect Beard or anyone else to retroactively delete any conversions already in the database, but moving forward Id appreciate it if my charts werent converted here. When my charts get converted, the charts always inevitably get changed in some way, whether that be the loss of slider notes or the removal of open notes, and Id much rather prefer people play my charts the way they were intended.

If someone really really wants to play something of mine, its become very easy to do conversions, and that person can download my chart straight from the source and do the conversion themselves. But when people make conversions and release them, assuming Ive been given credit in some way, then I have no control over the end product, and a botched conversion can reflect poorly on me rather than the converter.

This also goes for Anti Hero and any future Anti Hero setlists organized in part by myself, unless express permission is received from the charter in question.
