I’ve gone back and tried con tools 4.0.0 and it’s still failing every midi encryption

In that case there is probably one custom you have that is causing all the issues. I know one song that used to do that was Sunday Morning – Maroon 5, although this has been fixed. If they have not appeared in your game, tell me which folder you are putting them in and if it copied to the DTA properly.
The issue appears to be with all con files as the log in con tools lists every file as failing the midi encryption. This happens with all encryption types and it happens immediately when it starts trying to encrypt, except for Type 2 where it has the imposed wait time. This is why I’m confused as it’s happening with 124 different con files.

Yes, all types of encryption fail immediately in con tools on all con files

When I run to convert and merge the CON files it looks like every single song fails to encrypt the midi instantly on all encryption types. Any thoughts on what could be the cause?
Okay so it’s looking like I auto-fail the midi encryption instantly (except for the imposed wait on type 2) on every song without exception. I can find any other settings with con tools to tinker with so very confused as to why everything is failing
Last reply didn’t update, trying above post now
I was able to install the tubthumping DLC and get the songs showing up, I thought I had read that I could just create the folder structure
I now have all my new songs showing up, but they all say “unable to load song, skipping..” and boots me back to the library. I know I’ve seen a common errors explanation somewhere with this, but searching around now I’m finding little. Saw that they might need Type 2 encryption but have no clue what that means or how to accomplish it, if anyone could provide a link would be very appreciative.
I also think it might be noteworthy that it seems to be all 123 songs I added. When I went into a setlist that included all of them it threw that error repeatedly until I was back at the song list. Anythoughts

`game` folder is where the PS3 reads DLCs but you used the `GAMES` folder which is used for game ISOs by various homebrew softwares.
Copied merged folders and songs.dta to “game” and preserved the folder structure, am I overlooking something else here because I’m still only getting only the base songs. The blus30643 folder didn’t exist in game so I had to create it.

You are not using the right folder.
I’m using the game install folder, that’s where the USRDIR folder and all the assets and game files are. My set-up with HEN requires that folder, but the ps3 runs RB3 the same way as it would if it was in the “game” folder so I don’t think this is the issue.

The link on the first post simply directs me to the first post again, can this be corrected?
Also I have followed all steps in the new directions for ps3hen hfw as best as I can figure and am getting zero songs showing. I ran through converting and merging with a blank songs.dta, created the hmx****/songs directory and dropped everything in there. Does this dta/folder structure look okay?
