      Should be able to do this by dragging the CON into the Quick DTA Editor (C3 CON Tools).

       

      Scroll down to ‘vols’, it will look something like this:

       

      (

      )
      These are dB volume gain per audio channel, try kicking it up by +6 dB:
      (
      ‘vols’
      (6.00 6.00 6.00 6.00 6.00 6.00 3.00 3.00)
      )

       

      Save the file and close it, then compare the result with the original (_backup) in Visualizer and you will hear the volume changed.

      I think the DTA edit will require you to clear your songcache in order for the game to recognize it.

        I would suggest the ^ notation for easy-scoring talkies and see how it feels. Percussion would feel weird if they are still mouth sounds (though you can actually “cha” loud enough into the mic for it).

          One month, four years, same thing right? Anyway, I thought I’d get back into the swing of things with a couple songs originally put together by EmotionalDaisy. They needed vocal charting and reductions, but now they are ready to slay your singer. Enjoy!

              Do you use RBHP or any other ‘dummy file’ upgrades? I have had issues in the past where deleting songs that were cached, seems to cause crashing as soon as you add any other song. Also had issues where the dummy file was loaded with too many songs pushing it over the ~2950 limit when it was generating the cache.

               

              My general rule is to assume I have to regenerate it entirely if I want to delete anything, and not introduce any customs to the folder until the dummy removal to avoid the songlimit.

               

              If you are not using dummy upgrades, my guess would be corrupt DTA files due to bad downloads, bad USB device, etc. I would also be suspicious of any songs from the *last* time you added files as well that you haven’t confirmed playable. A single bad file anywhere can always seem like it is the ‘last one’ that causes everything to freeze.

                Easy to back this. RB4 was both an impressive accomplishment in licensing and something of a letdown for me; a PC version promises another kind of future-proofing that I never thought would happen. I hope their projected budget is realistic for their goals here, because I think the post-release sales outlook is relatively bleak.

                  I’ve chased similar symptoms to this, usually it boils down to extra songIDs lurking in the cache. Deleting songs that are already in the cache consistently causes issues for me as well (possibly only RBHP ones). My usual process:

                   

                  – Copy songcache over and extract it with this tool

                  – Look at song data in Excel and scour for bad IDs, songs that shouldn’t be there, duplicates etc.

                  – Delete culprits, clear cache, load up clean

                  – RBHP dummy steps

                  – Load without dummy

                   

                  I still have a few orphans that don’t show up (banished import tracks) but I am able to rub up against the proper song cap now.

                      The Blitz soundtrack pack seems to be broken for new PS3 buyers at the moment. The songs are available in the store though.

                        The MPA/ION work on the PS4 .

                        Truly? The official list says ION is supported but MPA is not.

                         

                        Hmm… Perhaps I will pick one up after the rumored impending price drop.

                          I’m not in a big hurry to buy a PS4 to play it, but I was planning on it until they announced no MIDI support. Is it already possible to get them working through the RB2 brain?

                              C3 customs brought me back from years of absence and across platforms to play Rock Band again. I had to stop myself from buying more DLC at one point, and got back into it in RB3 when they announced the end of DLC. But it didn’t last very long as the variety was not increased that much. I was always sad that PS3 support just wasn’t the same and avoided the customs scene because it didn’t apply to me.

                               

                              I was very impressed when I came across C3 this year and found the massive catalogue available. So much so that I went out and bought an Xbox from some kid in the boonies who seemed confused that I would want one (it was clearly sidelined by his XB1). Not long after that I found myself with a fancy electronic drum set rocking along to bands I never imagined would be in the game, and spending every spare moment thinking of new songs to add and setting to work on making it a reality.

                               

                              I now have quite an impressive library, to the point where I have to prune it frequently to stay under the song cap. Yet even more impressive is the list of “to do” songs I still hope to add someday, with the only limit being time. C3 made all of that happen and empowered me to keep it up indefinitely, the step HMX could never take. But I have to imagine they are proud.

                                My sole vote for the last 10 would be for The Jack (TNT) as it is the most different from the Live pack version — totally different lyrics, not live, and Bon Scott <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

                                 

                                Love the AC/DC project and it is impressive how complete it is already!
