Hey on Don’t Forget Me (and maybe Dosed as well I’m not sure) the entire song audio cuts out when you miss a note on guitar which makes it problematic in a full band or party atmosphere. I don’t know if this was intentional and you are aware of this, but if it was personally I’d rather have no cut out instead of the entire song cutting out because it really kills the energy in casual plays of the song and diminishes the playability of it. That being said I love the song choices and was super excited when I saw that someone made full band customs of those two, so thank you for making them, they just need a bit of fixing (assuming it’s a unintentional).

Does anyone have Guitar Sound by Ronald Jenkees? It got pulled from everywhere a little while back so now you can’t even redownload it if you bought it prior to the pulling and lost the file.

          explanation of clues this week

The problem is that none of the clues lead to make the initial leap towards Supertramp or that all the clues in the passage are connected (for example not a singles week), so what looks clear to someone who knows the data of Supertramp looks like a needle in the haystack to anyone on the outside, especially for a band that doesn’t come up in the US musical conversation outside of talking about good Wurlitzer albums.

We did go with something a little more cryptic this week because giving fairly obvious hints for an artist that made up most of this week’s releases could lead to it not being, well, that much of a surprise, especially if you guessed one artist/song,

This would be in good heart if the songs weren’t released until next week like official releases (and not with announcements), but with the custom releases there’s no weekend of hype to get accustomed with the songs so there’s no hype for the songs between announcement and playing it, so if the artist or songs were to be revealed in the hint thread it would just simulate the break between annoucement and playing Harmonix has.

How the hell did this one fit together? I think the clues need to be less difficult, or at least the difficulty played around with until the sweet spot is found so they actually generate hype and community building well still harboring a challenge, instead of just challenge with obscure references like it is now.

              • Once a cover of this track hit Sesame Street, children everywhere knew that it was alright to be proud of who you are.

Just the Way You Are by Billy Joel for the Sesame Street hint due to Lesley Ann Warren playing a cover it instead of Joel himself, but it might also be Hot n Cold by Katy Perry as the wildcard based on the Katy Perry authoring in the past and here’s a list to all possible options.

That’s the only one that I’m gonna tackle now, but the Dave Grohl and Tom Petty one probably seems obvious once you know what it is, but the artists that I associate with sounding like Tom Petty haven’t showed up on Rock Band yet and the only thing that I associate as a combination of the two in sound is Wheels by The Foo Fighters which is already on rock band.

Why do you have Far Away under the artist “Video Games”? The person playing song is named José González and was popular even before making the song for Red Dead with him being most famous for his cover of The Knife’s Heartbeats and has a UK platinum album because of it. I thank you for making the song into a custom, but using the artist name of “Video Games” is just lazy considering it would have taken you 5 seconds worth of time to find the actual artist name.

I know who the original artist is trust me. If you would read the beginning part of the post on the first page where all the text is, where it clearly says “Sorting” I mention CLEARLY that I plan on doing A LOT of video game themes. So If I wanna play Far Away, The Zelda Theme, Silent Hill 3 Theme, and the Metal Gear Solid theme, I simply go to the “Video Game” artist and BAM there they all are, instead of going from artist to artist trying to find them all. If it bothers you that much, fix it in LeFluffie, it’s very simple to do if you did the research on how. I’ll even private message you on how to fix it if you want, but AGAIN my methods are CLEARLY mentioned in the front post which you chose not to read.

The problem is that there’s no precedence for naming the songs this way, take the Super Meat Boy songs for example, are they listed under Super Meat Boy or Videogames, no they’re listed under the artist that made the song dB Soundworks. Imagine if the song was released in the actual Rock Band store would the artist want to be listed under Videogames with their name showing up nowhere in terms of the releases or under the name that the music was released under, as in the case of Far Away Jose Gonzalez is listed in the artist column, not Red Dead Redemption. Again I thank you for taking your time to author the track, but your sorting method is all screwy with iffy logic.
