I have a question regarding Abacab (the individual track, not the album). I had assumed the “ch ch ch ch…” that starts at 2:39 was going to be charted as “talking,” but it turned out to be really high notes. Is that really how it is in the song? I’ve listened to it a few times and can’t distinguish the sounds well enough to know for certain, but I do know that it surprised me to suddenly have to find that high note I never knew was there.

 

By the way, I’ve said it before but I want to say it again: Genesis Chronicles is AMAZING. You guys are friggin’ awesome!

“Make it Wit Chu,” by Queens of the Stone Age, came out as part of Guitar Hero 5 and was converted and released by the GHtoRB3 project ages ago here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc … S0E#gid=20.

 

It’s a lot of fun to play, but it’s definitely not up to RB3 or C3 standards. It desperately needs harmonies, and keys are a must for this song to be complete. Also, I seem to recall some of the drum charting being inaccurate the last time I played, but I could be wrong on that.

 

I hope someone out there has the GH5 stems for this song. Anyone know if the person who did the original conversion, Tlitd31, is still active in the customs community?

Since we’re on the topic of GH QotSA track conversions, “Mexicola” and “How to Handle a Rope” would be great to have, too. I believe they were released as DLC for GH5.

Well, is there a possibility others could pick up where they left off?

 

My assumption is that converting from GH to RB3 isn’t too difficult since the charting is already done, so would that allow less-skilled conversion fans (like me) to help? I’m hesitant to attempt making customs of other tracks, but if there’s a solid starting point I might be able to put in some time.

as with all of us in C3, the GHtoRB3 team is comprised of people from all over the world. while some of you already finished exams, one of the members from GHtoRB3 is in final exams. he happens to be the one who puts the finishing touches in the songs. when he is done, you’ll be getting quite a bit of content that I understand is pretty much ready to go. so, just have some patience.

My only request at this point would be for Mr. Finishing Touches guy to consider posting a note in the GHtoRB3 spreadsheet when there will be delays. That way we’ll all know not to worry.

Have you guys heard QotSA’s new album? It’s got some seriously amazing tracks on it, and I would LOVE to play some of them in RB3. Here are my picks:
