I took a look through the Beatles customs that have been released so far and compared it to my Beatles music collection. This is a list of their songs that aren’t available as customs but are well-known enough that I think most people would want to add them. Of these, Rocky Raccoon is the one I personally want most. So fun to sing!

    Rocky Raccoon

    This Boy

    She Loves You

    We Can Work It Out

    Lady Madonna

    I Should Have Known Better

You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away

You’re Going to Lose That Girl

    Eleanor Rigby

    She Said She Said

    Good Day Sunshine

    Magical Mystery Tour

    The Fool On The Hill

    Strawberry Fields Forever

    Penny Lane

    Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da

    All Together Now

    Two of Us

This Boy exists by way of Orange Harrison and it’s awesome.

    He did Rain too.

Oh yeah! I forgot about This Boy. Thanks, I’ve struck it off the list.

Beatles is one of the 3 bands I always wanted to do a complete discography. They will be addressed in the future.

Haha, if it really were a complete discography then Revolution 9 would have to be in there somewhere. And I’d love to see someone attempt to chart that.

Just give me Eleanor Rigby. Literally the only Beatles track I want just for the strings on Keys.

If you don’t mind me asking what are the other 2 bands?

Well, Rush and Queensryche, of course. For Rush I’ve done the Rush Rock Band project, which is a porting of existing charts plus vocals and drums for all their albums (it’s X only, not all instruments, very early attempts at charting for me, so it’s something that needs a lot of reworking before being released through C3: you can find all the songs in the community spreadsheet), for Queensryche I’m working on the De Garmo-era discography. Those are of on different standards, you’ve already seen Promised Land through C3.

I would have to add on a semi-discography basis Queen: some albums simply don’t do it for me, some songs in some other albums neither, but I would love to complete more than a few albums. In fact, a Queen 3-pack is coming later this year, yay!

I would also LOVE to see these songs, specially Rocky Raccoon! But I gotta also say that a good old fashioned Hey Jude and the amazing Your Mother Should Know on RB3 would be a hell of a dream coming true!

But, honestly, these guys love Beatles as much as us, so my guess is that we are going to see A LOT of other beatles songs this year!

Just out of curiousity, did Harmonix ever say why they didn’t include Hey Jude in Rock Band Beatles disc songs or DLC? It just seems like the obvious choice as one of their most popular and fun songs. Could they not get the masters or something?

They never said why….but I would assume that it was because it is a piano heavy song and there is no keyboard support for Beatles RB.

Honestly, I don’t have any idea. Hey Jude, Let it Be, All My Loving, Help, Love me Do. When I think about a Beatles music game, that would be the first music that comes in my mind.

That’s no excuse in my opinion, You Never Give Me Your Money and Golden Slumbers also has heavy piano and were released as DLC. My guess is that Hey Jude/Let it be/Help are way more expensive to be ported to Rock Band than other Beatles songs.

Well, but I think you are all missing the point that except for All You Need is Love, all TBRB DLC was about full albums (some of the songs you guys have mentioned are singles). Plus, TBRB on disc songs were chosen also because they didn’t have prominent keys parts.
