You don’t happen to live in SF Bay Area do you?
As awesome as this is (yes I immdiately starting tracking down the right – extra – PS4…) I have to wonder a few things:
1. RB4 will be stuck at whatever version it was at prior to the PS4 getting updated to 5.05. If RB4 wasn’t already installed, then we’ll be stuck with the release version of RB4
2. With no way to get legit DLC on there, I’ll still have to have to have two consoles running – one for legit DLC and one for customs
So now I wonder if it’s really worth the extra hassle. Pretty cool that it’s happening though ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
@TrojanNemo – thanks so much! I am going to try out the “relaxed security” tonight ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Hi,
I’m posting this here to see if anybody did take up the idea pf making any changes. I’m not a programmer, but I use the event manager a lot. I’d love to tweak the functionality of the lock system so that people can at least advance songs without having to unlock it for total queue rearrangement….
Thanks!
I may be blind, but is there a way to import to setlist manager from csv? I can export to csv to make easy modifications, but how do I get it back in?

The most bittersweet moment of his passing was when I KNEW that we would finally be getting Prince music in Rock Band. Thank you so much for taking this on.
Awesome – thanks as always for listening! My life just got easier…
My two cents (not that it really matters…) Our relatively hardcore group prefers RB4 over 3. Individual lane speeds is a MASSIVE improvement. Live streaming and other improvements (Brutal Mode has been a surprise hit) along with the overall nicer experience on the PS4, has led us to play a lot more RB4. We flip over to the customs box eventually, but that ratio isn’t nearly as RB3 heavy as I thought it would be..
Does that export in any usable way?
Sent from my Galaxy Note 4 using Tapatalk Pro.
Yep – .csv with selectable columns. There were a couple of other options too.
This is great stuff, as usual ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
I am coming back to the PS4 for RB4 after jumping over to the 360 to play customs. SO, I don’t have a “starter” setlist to work from; my 360 setlist is probably 40%+ customs at this point. Does anyone have a PS playlist with most if the official DLC I could use to manually create a new one?
Quoting my own post – I was thinking that a more accurate way to do this would be to use my data from myrockbandsongs.com since it was accurate up until the day the music died.
I don’t think I can get the data exported from there, but I know it’s there in XML format because the Troy Davis Karaoke list maker can pull it. Therefore, I suppose I can get the that data and fiddle around enough to strip the tags and make a workable list.
However, it might be neat if you could work that integration directly into C3 tools. Just a thought…
Thanks again!
EDIT: Actually, I’m an idiot. I just had to click through one more screen to get to the export csv option…

No to sound greedy or anything but…. Have you dug into the PS4 data yet? I’m curious if we’ll ever be able to output the song cache for the setlist/event manager. I saw the on-disc import you set up, but I’ve got another 1300+ legacy DLC as well.
I’ve been spoiled by the event manager and it’s ALL YOUR FAULT.
Any trick to making the event manager work? Only loads one song. Setlist manager seems to be fine….

You guys don’t owe us anything. I can’t possibly express how grateful I am for what you’ve done so far, and I’m sure I speak for the rest of our group as well.
This is probably the classiest way you could have handled the situation; congratulations on being an amazingly talented group of programmers/musicians/enthusiasts and upholding solid values and respecting those that gave us the game in the first place.
You Rock! (GH Pun TOTALLY intended)
