Sort of a risky move but it makes RB Blitz customs work as well as other RB games in the era.
If you take this move, do not go online. It’ll pretty much just set you up for a ban.
sets you up for a ban and is just a dick move in general
If it’s both HMX charts AND audio, it doesn’t sound like much of a “custom” song.
Xplorer will apparently not work with the new adapter, and though stage kit is supported by the adapter it is not yet supported by the game.
Although you won’t be able to save (infact you’d end up losing your save file), the super long customs don’t seem to freeze if you aren’t using any TUs
Yeah it might be an issue with TU4 in particular.

Yep. I did find a way to force the black audition venue, but didn’t try for others.
Downloaded the song to test and getting the same thing, so it’s probably an issue with the song itself.

Try opening your save in Con Tool’s con explorer, extracting the save.dat within, hex edit the first byte from 0x98 to 0x97, then replace it back in and press save.
Doing that seems to let me use my tu5 save even with no title updates applied at all (EA Disc).
Don’t know if you’ll run into problems down the line, though. Haven’t really tested further than just booting the game.
I’m pretty sure this is an issue specific to modded Xboxes on Corona motherboards. The issue described sounds like the audio decryption fails…may be a safeguard or may be a side effect of the RGH method. That could very well be it. Something with the default Xbox XeKeys library calls Harmonix uses that is causing it. Only games unaffected are GH2 and Beatles that I know of. Switching to XeCrypt and changing the relevant code seems to fix the problem.

If you open the launch.ini file on the root of your hard drive with notepad you should see it. Setting it to false it might solve your problem.
