I also have yet to look into it, but the ds rock band games have almost the exact same control to the psp rock band game, so im wondering if they use the same file.container for notes, so maybe porting the songs from those two games to psp rb would be possible if there is a way around the size issue, but the ds rb songs are cut and missing parts of the original song unlike on the psp

Sadly it dosen’t seem that possible, as it falls in the line of alot of psp games (but not all) where you can’t mod it cause changing the file size of the iso either smaller or bigger than the original causes the game to not load, so therfore you can’t change anything, otherside, the audio for the songs is really easy since they seem to be in at3 files and there are tools to convert audio to that format, but the notes seem to be in str files which I have no idea about, though they seem to be a container file so maybe it does use midi and they are just inside these containers

You’ll need a JTAG console.

Yea, you need a modded xbox to do it, you can’t do it on normal xboxs, the songs show up, but when attempted to be played, they crash the game

Hi,

 

I’ve not too long discovered customs as some of my all time favourite songs are there to play after I’ve worn out my DLC.

 

To cut a long story short, I put 2 songs onto my USB stick after doing all of the necessary to get them working, anyway, I went on my Xbox, into Play A Song and they were there all well and good and playable. After this, I done a bulk import of around 280 songs onto the USB but now when I click on Play A Song the options will disappear onto a kind of black screen as if it’s just about to load up all the customs into a song list but then the Xbox crashes.

 

Anyone had a similar issue or know what this could be? I assume either the Xbox cannot handle the amount of data on the USB or there is a corrupt file in there somewhere?

This happens sorta for me, but with normal and dlc songs, my xbox just gets stuck on loading screen

Please take this suggestion seriously. I don’t see a single ad on any mediafire page because I’m using uBlock.

Yea, i use ad block as well, when im downloading stuff it helps out alot, and ad blocks do work
